One of my top 5 favorite receivers in this class…I would LOVE if we drafted him at #34. Absolute STUD.

1) Nabers (LSU)
2) MHJ (OSU)
3) Ladd McConkey (UGA)
4) Malik Washington (UVA)
5) Javon Baker (UCF)
Honorable Mentions: Ricky Pearsall (UF) / Brian Thomas Jr. (LSU) /
Adonai Mitchell (Texas)

I am not concerned about his durability.

I am concerned about his ability to process quickly, his accuracy and his ability to use the middle of the field. His receivers bailed him out in college and that is not happening in New England

Don’t know how they dont go LT @ #34… Rookie QB with no talent at OT is a scary proposition. Can get WR next year when we are picking top 15 again :(

I agree. Please consider including South Carolina’s Xavier Legette.

Agree completely. I have him rated right behind Adonai Mitchell, and above Franklin. I really like McConkey, but he’s redundant on this roster. If Mitchell is gone I would love to see them take Sumuataiani at 34 and then trade up for Legette. Then again there are a lot of scenarios I really like on Day 2 of the Draft. This second round is loaded with good prospects at the Patriots positions of need.

That depends on how the draft board falls n round 1. If 7/8 OT’s go in round 1 then you are looking at the next tier of Tackles, and they could get one in the mid to late 2nd round who is as good as their options at 34, in which case they could go for a Center or a WR, and then trade up for the Tackle in Round 2.

Not saying that is the case here, but sometimes a QB lacks touch and needs to throw a more catchable ball.

Grogan had that issue, certainly early in his career.

Tough name

Xavier Leggette could be a 4.30ish 40 A.J. Brown, who you could sometimes use out of the backfield as an HB like Deebo (just don't overuse him like that because you have no backfield talent).

I was real high on Leggette as an X receiver, but I'm hearing that his route running needs a lot of work. Definitely an option in the 3rd round if he's still on the board.

Watching Carson "Beck" with his lighting quick release and the Patriots trading down this year and not drafting one of the top QB's makes me think they'll be singing "I'm a loser" next season.

If only we could draft OSU WR Jeremiah Smith. Too bad he’s ineligible. That’s gonna be the next “MHJ..Nabers..Chase..Jefferson” 6’3” 215.
That kid is a S.T.U.D.

Allegedly..

Don’t do it New England.

Quick way to get fired Wolf.
I love those mock drafts where we take Pennix. Having shown almost little to no interest in him.
