Yeah I hated, yet respected, NE during their reign. That doesn't mean I don't acknowledge Brady was GOAT immediately after SB 51.If it isn't hard why had no one gone back to back for 20 years?
You're letting hate cloud common sense
ok, we will meet back here to discuss this after mahomes wins three…no, FOUR more, one on another team he personally teaches how to win the first year he joins another team.Brady beat him twice yes, has 7 rings yes BUT if Mahomes manages to win say 6 rings in 10-12 seasons a debate can absolutely be had about who the GOAT is. That would be absolute DOMINATION.
Don't really care what the lines were. The Chiefs being underdogs to San Francisco was ridiculousMahomes just had the most impressive Super Bowl run since the Ravens beat Manning and Brady back to back.
3pt underdog in Buffalo, 4.5 pt underdog in Baltimore, 2.5 pt underdog in the Super Bowl, most people thought this team stunk and was dead in the middle of the season.
It will be tough without Kelce ... but who knows ...ok, we will meet back here to discuss this after mahomes wins three…no, FOUR more, one on another team he personally teaches how to win the first year he joins another team.
Yep, and as discussed, this draft is loaded at wr which is a position they desperately need to keep moving forward.everyone said the same thing when hill left
No they didn't - c'mon.everyone said the same thing when hill left
Did he announce his retirement or something? I don’t believe for a second Kelce the Wr is gonna retire anytime soon. He’s not asked to block, he plays like a wr, don’t think he has the physical mileage most te’s have. Who knows? Maybe he is done and wants to do other things? It will be tough without Kelce ... but who knows ...
he had his best shot in '88... couldn't get it done... fryar, morgan, francis, stephens, etc...Your opinion is supported by overwhelming reality about Flutie's career trajectory, and 'conventional wisdom'.
It can only be contradicted by acceptance of the overwhelmingly absurdly stupid and ridiculous treatment of Doug, which if applied to literally anyone, Brady, Montana, or any of his inferior peers in the 90's, would have landed all of them in obscurity.
canadian records mean exactly what? nadaThat Flutie instead rewrote the record book north of the border was no surprise to anyone paying attention (like me), and he did it for a third of the $1 million the Patriots paid Hugh Millen. It only gets sickeningly worse when one opens one's eyes to the atrocity of benching Flutie, at the end of a season in which he was primarily the reason the team was in position to compete for a championship, in favor of Tony Eason and Rob Johnson.
your assertions are based on fiction... reality says otherwise. My assertion regarding Flutie is almost universally treated as I would be if I stated all the things insurance salesman Tom Brady could and would have done if an NFL team ever gave him a legitimate chance.
on the fieldOn or off the field? Not Jim's fault the only person smart enough to pick him up after he got himself killed trying to elevate the otherwise moribund Pats & 49ers above mediocrity. The stats do support the ridiculous commonly held belief that those Raiders teams 'carried' him to those two titles.
Never In A Million Years would those teams have won it all with Pastorini, Wilson or Stabler.
Personally he's always been a stand up class guy, and he overcame serious family challenges growing up and worked his ass off to be in the eyes of many the best college player they'd ever seen. Has Stanford won a Rose Bowl without Jim the last century?
That guy is a great coordinator. Cost us perfection. Hate his guts for that. But at least Brady beat him the last 3 times he played him when it countedSpagnola was 2nd only to Mahomes as MVP for chiefs this year.
I hope Covington can be half as good as Spagnola.
He’s never going ahead of Brady.Yeah I hated, yet respected, NE during their reign. That doesn't mean I don't acknowledge Brady was GOAT immediately after SB 51.
Mahomes is definitely a top three QB ever imo. But I also am not prepared to put him ahead of Brady...yet. I think he is closing in on Montana though.
It already seems that he could...Did he announce his retirement or something? I don’t believe for a second Kelce the Wr is gonna retire anytime soon. He’s not asked to block, he plays like a wr, don’t think he has the physical mileage most te’s have. Who knows? Maybe he is done and wants to do other things?
Mahomes has only lost to Burrow & Brady. He's yet to lose to a "lesser" QB. And I can see guys like Wright & Sharpe holding it against Brady that he lost to Flacco, Eli, Sanchez, Foles, and Plummer.Only Tom Brady has enough mystique to take down Mahomes, the other Qb is this era are a joke.
Who is the bigger douche ... Kelce or LebroneyHe’s never going ahead of Brady.
This isn’t a Jordan Lebron debate where they never crossed paths. Brady and Mahomes met twice on the biggest stage. Brady won both. The end.
