On to Baltimore!

Defense playing lights out, they do however need to do a better job against the run game next week.

Offense needs to improve, they did a decent job today with JE11 in the red zone, but they could be much better.

Before the overreaction to the Browns running success runs amok in here lets just keep in mind that the Ravens are much more one dimensional on offense in terms of talent.

BB, Mayo & co will have more margin to stack boxes next week against a QB that is inconsistent at best when it comes to passing and is not throwing to multiple good offensive pieces.

Bait Jackson to pass with a lot of run home heavy looks, spy on him and then play the odds that he cant play a perfect game.

If this game is decided by 3pts to win, aka: the kicker, Patriots are in trouble....

Patriots will stack the box and have Collins spying on Lamar Jackson for the majority of the game. Key will be shutting down the run game, which they will do, i also think BB won't be exactly happy with some of today's defence either. The other thing is the Ravens don't have the receiving threats that the Browns do with Odell, Landry etc.

The Ravens are scary though. They wear black and won a couple of playoff games against us like 8 years ago. No one wants to play them.

Ravens defense is decent as well.
Ravens don't have a great receiving corp. The team we just beat, beat the Ravens in B-more.

“Mike’s got a lot of experience, we felt like he was the best option,” Belichick said. “Just seeing where the player is currently, but the past has some relevance too. It’s a combination, but it would be hard to sign somebody at that position that didn’t kick well in a workout. There’d have to be a lot of other things in place that would override that, I would think.”

Nugent is 13-30 (43.3%) on kicks from 50 plus yards in his 14-year career, but Belichick downplayed any concerns of Nugent’s long-range kicking.

“I think we’ll have a pretty good idea what his range is,” Belichick said. “It’s been about the same since he’s been in the league. We’ve, again, played against him, so defensively on our field goal block and defensive strategy we’ve had to kind of know what that is. I don’t think it’s like 15 or 20 yards different from what it’s been.”

Baltimore is coming off a bye. I was concerned looking at how the run defense was shaky at times. Got to not allow easy runs and wrap up the ball carrier and not allow yards after contact. Chubb was eating us up at one point. Baltimore’s biggest strength is their run game. Jackson and Ingram can really gash you.

Holiday Brown, WR (aka: Antonio's cousin) will be available to play. He is the fastest player on the Ravens roster...

This is a different ravens team than we’ve faced in the past. There are familiar faces with Harbaugh, Justin tucker and marshal yanda who is one of the best o linemen in the league. They run a different offensive system from when flacco was there. Lots of zone reads and QB runs. Almost like a college offense
