Pats have 2 Game lead for the One Seed

What's happens when the patriots lose?

Brady has a bad game or two every season. The flu hits and devastates the locker room.

If the Patriots lose than this board will explode. But that's every fan base.

2008 Broncos had a four game lead over the Chargers with four weeks remaining. Denver lost the last four. Chargers won out (Researched this on wikipedia). It's never over until it's over.

The Patriots were in great shape to take the 1 seed before the Miami game last year. And then it fell apart. People proclaimed them to be one and done at best.
still doesn't matter. It is never too early for the seeding position to matter. never

I keep reading about how bad the Pats offense is yet when I look up at the standings I see them leading the league in scoring. Am aware of their schedule and that several scores were made by the defense/special teams but even if you normalize everything it seems like their problems may be a bit overstated as compared to the rest of the league.

On track to become the worst 1st seed team of all time.

Next week's game looking a little tougher all the sudden LOL

Both their starting offensive tackles are out as well as their best WR.
They are getting against the Jets. They are about to drop three in a row.

The might be an easier game on our schedule than the road game at NYJ

crap the Bills are in the hunt for the one seed :-(

The Bills aren't as good as the Patriots, Chiefs, or Texans but they have a soft schedule. Here's a look at their remaining schedule with predicted wins, losses, and toss ups as W/L.

Dolphins - W
Eagles - L
Redskins - W
Browns - W/L
Dolphins - W
Broncos - W
Cowboys - L
Ravens - W/L
Steelers - W
Patriots - L
Jets - W

Predicted Record: 11-5

If the Bills play better than expected and pull out a win against a strong(ish) team like the Cowboys or Patriots, they could end up one of the weakest -- hey, that sounds familiar! -- 12-4 teams in NFL history.

The remaining record of the Bills competition is 21-34, even softer (15-34) if you if you subtract the Patriots from that count. The Patriots face opponents with a 24-31 record.

potentially with HFA too. A lot of the 4 and 2 teams face each other too, so more Ls coming those team's way

15 Wins to clinch AFC East?

..or no?

Is there a need to start another thread about win total needed to clinch the division ?
