To be fair, people wanted to bring in competition for Gost. They didn’t want Gost to be suddenly be done for the year without knowing the alternative.

It was reported before the MIA game he did a Charlie Brown and fell square on his hip/back

Yeah this definitely explains his struggles. So now four players are on IR. Only two can return.

Can Bailey kick? I know he's got the boot for kickoffs. Is his accuracy better than what's available among free agents?

Am I mistaken or does Bailey not have background kicking (as well as being a punter)?

Well there it is. I was right about it being injury related, but wrong about it being just a pre-emptive move. Not ideal for sure. Curious who they're going to bring in.

This team, which was already the best in the league by a wide margin, just got better today.

This calls for a little bit of the bubbly.

For all those posters wanting us to replace Gost, should be interesting to see if/when our new kicker misses his 1st kick or PAT.
