Van Noy as a 29 YO LB is more critical than a 33 YO McCourty that was already talking about hanging it up this year. Van Noy can be expected to give 3 years of service to the team while Devin at 33 would not. I think the pats have some good DBs that are young and should provide less of a drop off over those years than Van Noy to whomever. Also Hightower will be 31 and going into his last year of his deal next off season.
