I've been there and had peanuts, paper wads, etc. thrown at me all afternoon by your grade school-level buddies whenever my back was turned. If you want, I can provide proof of having been amongst the Jete rabble via a documented drop in my IQ that lasted a good six hours postgame.

I believe you may have been to a game, but it doesn't sound like you know the features of each of the sections.

Where'd ya sit?

Amongst Jete cretins. That says it all. I feel myself getting stupider just retrieving the memory.

Just know each section is very different. If you ever go again, I'll break things down for you. And even suggest a good section for ya. One that really enjoys Pats fans. ;)

why don't YOU come up here? I'll make you comfortable...morphine drip and eer'ting..

Based on the title (and the author) I thought this was the 2018 edition of the Jetes Suck Thread. Disappointed.

Yeah, right. For all I know you were among the slopeheads chucking garbage at me while my back was turned that day. Even the old Jete fans I encountered were latent adolescents. It was like a giant open-air daycare center populated by chimpanzees.

Not likely. I'm usually in the LSL section 135. Visiting fans are usually welcome there. Unless of course they're asking for trouble. In which case we'll have some fun with 'em.

Back when things were normal, ticket prices were the same across the board. Now, you pay "more" or "less" depending on the "quality" of opponent, and presason tix cost "less." Yet, somehow, season ticket prices haven't changed aside from increasing a bit every couple/three years, as always. You'd think that with preseason games costing less these days (which makes total sense), season ticket holders would catch a break. BUT NO! Any savings from that is wiped out by new, premium charges for (heh heh) "marquee" and "elite" games! Thank you, Bob Kraft, for continuing this faux window dressing that means absolutely nothing.
It is just slight of hand to appease the people who used to complain about STHers being "forced" to buy 2 preseason games for the same price as regular tickets. So we don't hear those complaints any longer.

Yeah... imma call BS. From the sound of it you aren't aware of the different features involved with the seats, beyond just sight lines.
I went to the Old Giants Stadium a bunch of times and it was a really good stadium. It was exclusively football (meaning no baseball) even though it was built during a time when dual-purpose stadiums dominated the landscape.

Having said that, I can understand the reason for the upgrade. I have not yet been to MetLife but I am sure I will eventually, even if only for an exhibition game.

My preference would've been to leave it as was vs. this nonsense. Either that, or decrease the preseason game prices and adjust prices for the regular-season games to make up the difference but have each priced the same. "Elite"? " Marquee"? "Premier"? Give me a break. There's no guarantee a top-tier team from 2017 is going to be as good in 2018.

The old Meadowlands was fun. Mainly because I was so young. First tailgates getting trashed as a teen, gate D, and of course the games.

But yeah the upgrade was needed. The bathroom lines were ridiculous. Food sucked and not many luxury options.

When you go, I'd advise spending a couple bucks. Avoid the 300s. Especially if you're wearing Pats gear.

The Mezz clubs are great, but a little too reserved for my taste. Pound for pound, the LSL sections (lower level 10ydln to 30ydln) are the best bet. Great sight lines, separate bathrooms and concessions just for those sections, and straight shot into and out of those sections. Meaning you get from outside to your seat in 3 minutes if you want. No need to deal with all the riff raff if you don't want to.

I don't think I could ever go to a game and wear opposing team gear. But, to be honest, the main reason I will go is to see the stadium... so while each denizen therein sucks, I'd probably choose the lesser of 2 evils and pick a Giants game.

That plus it'll give me an excuse to see the new Tappan Zee which I am yet to cross.... it is a little out of the way versus taking the GW, but those are the roads I am more familiar with..... it's just a damn shame how much Mazur's sucks these days.... that place used to be THE BEST

Bulletin board material. Krafty trying to spite Bill by sabotaging the season.

Are you suggesting the SB shouldn't be played outdoor in the elements?

And PSLs?.. eh, fact of life lately. Better than using public financing. Either you can afford it or not.
Well Jetsdouche,

When Robert Kraft built Gillette neither public funds nor PSL's were used.

Supply and demand. It's the way to world works. There's a lot of money and football fans around here.

Plus Gillette was built almost a decade earlier. Before PSLs became common. Your next stadium in 10 to 15 years will likely have PSLs.

Having sat in almost all of the sections, I agree with the section pricing. There is a great deal of variance between the sections and features/amenities associated with each section. I'm guessing you're not too familiar with the stadium now.

Actually I think the pricing could be even more specific.
Amenities? Features? Wtf?!? You mean: Variations on the Infantile.

Like maps showing the best places to assault women, diagrams how to wad and shoot a spitball, instructions on how to buy a beer and count your change, directions to the public restroom and warnings that you must zip up your pants, visuals and verbal practice sessions on how to spell “j-e-t-e,” etc.

Wrong, and wrong again. PSLs aren't necessary with ownership that has a clue and a fan base that doesn't tolerate B.S. The Jete situation is a true mess -- plenty of games last season where the lower bowl was practically empty and the upper deck nearly full.

Are you familiar with the coaches club? (Of course you're not.)

If you already know the answer, why ask the question? Please stop wasting time here -- your petulance and shenanigans are wearing thin. I sure hope you don't own a gun because everything coming from you is a misfire.
