Matt Miller of Bleacher report, Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network & Benjamin Allbright all have Rosen as the QB to slide & currently outside their top 5 in mocks FWIW. I think McShay does as well as of yesterday.

Definitely a fair concern over Rosen & why we may even have a shot at him. I know you’re a Mayfield guy & I’d gladly take him but it looks like he’s heading to the Jets @ #3.

I can see the Bills trading up with the Giants.

Browns - Allen

Bills - Mayfield

Jetes - Rosen

Browns - Barkley

Broncos - Darnold

No way Darnold drops that far.
If it shakes out like this we take Lauletta or Rudolph with our second

I know that the world has turned upside f###### down when I read a tweet from Trollin' Volin and find myself nodding my head: *Starting to think that Brady is just messing with Belichick at this point - staying away from OTAs and dropping vague hints about retirement just to create a big off-season distraction. Payback for the Guerrero stuff. " This sucks the big one. Schefter and Curran aren't Tomase and Tanguay.

With his highly competitive nature, I can't see TB12 retiring as the losing QB in SB LII. He would much rather retire as a SB champion. I therefore feel he will stay at least one more season for another chance at the brass ring. If the Pats had won SB LII, I would believe TB12 might retire after back-to-back championships.

I think without a doubt Bill goes QB in round 1 with this report.

Assuming Tom plays and they stay put and use a 1st or 2nd on a QB, I wonder if they would consider a double dip with Kanoff (or pick your late round flier of choice) as a late pick. With a deep class and most teams in need of a QB likely to take one to develop at some point, it may be easier to get him to the practice squad if neither QB shows well enough to unseat Hoyer right away. If one of them shows well, keep The 2 rookies behind Brady.
An additional spin at the QB roulette wheel never hurt anyone. We double dip at positional groups of need all the time... qb is a bit of a different animal than other positions, but it may be time to do so.

I don’t blame him, I’d want to retire after that rigged garbage too

It's interesting to note how many of us avoid bspn outside of Reiss and yet every time Schifty spews drivel we are none the less subject to it. Every day more fuel gets thrown on the Gronk & Brady fires that refuse to do anything other than vaguely smolder and get both the uninformed and obsessed to run around them in circles screaming & shouting. Meanwhile the Butler thread (our own homegrown slice of bspn) continues to grow beyond all reason on a daily basis with nothing of real consequence added to it in the last 5k posts...and the draft is still over a week away, smdh.

I’m not trying to go down this rabbit hole, but you can’t trade the GOAT while he still plays like the GOAT. The guy gives us the best chance to win Super Bowls now. If Brady looked like hammered **** at the beginning of 2017 or his INT total was noticeably increasing, I’d have been on board.
When the goat starts acting more like a new age shaman than a football player, yes, you can trade him

Some of the attitudes in this thread are downright embarrassing. Brady has earned respect and a little dignity. We can be clear-headed about planning for the future without resorting to insults and ill will. And at the end of the day, football is still just a game, not something to get worked up about on such a personal level.

My hope is that we see three more top years from Brady. That is the fan in me, however. The father in me says that if I were Brady, I would have retired last year to be with my family more.

While I agree with that, it will be incredibly infuriating if Brady retires after we just shipped Jimmy out of town. And this passive-aggressive bull from Brady and Gronk isn't flattering.

If Tom does retire, who do you blame for that?

He can pledge his life to the Reverend Sum Yun Moon as far as I am concerned.... so long as he keeps playing at his current level, you keep him. Now there are those who think he won't be playing anymore, but I think he is coming back.

Should of traded him and kept Jimmy G thats my thought then and thoughts now.
Now we are scramblimg to find a heir and we had one and San fran got him for a fricking second.
I said at the time it was a huge franchise altering mistake. if he retires this year or next he is f--king over the pats. before Jimmy g he was playing till he's 45. after the trade its I don't know if I'm playing. unbelievable.

Notice the shift in direction from him since the Super Bowl? He knows that **** was rigged and the game thrown on purpose. No wonder him, Gronk, and Amendola are pissed. If I threw 505 yards and no picks and lost because my coach benched one of the best defensive players on purpose, I’d be like **** this ****. See how good you are without me, I’m done

No way that was a BB decision now if Rosen is the guy we need to give up a fortune.
I'd rather trade for Paxton Lynch and draft Rudolph,Lauletta or White.
Shore up the defense or trade into next year.

That's because Schefter is the most credible reporter in the business, bar none. It tells you how bad ESPN is when the have both Schefter and Reiss yet most of us still avoid them like the plague.

This is real. It sucks and I don't want it to be real, but not wanting it to be real won't magically make it not real.
