Jaguars or Ravens

I think we'll face KC, to be honest. Even though they beat us early this year, neither the Pats or Chiefs are the same team they were then.

Still, the Ravens/Jags have no game changers like Hunt, Hill, or Kelce. Hmmm.

Any way you look at it, the Pats have to beat 3 good teams to hoist the Lombardi again. Not much sense in worrying which ones we get.

I agree, KC will beat the ravens and end up playing us.

Would much rather play Baltimore. KC scares me much more than the no-weapon Ravens and sleepy Joe Flacco. Kind of stinks that the Steelers get to play the Jags. That's a layup for the Steelers. I know Jax beat them earlier, but that will definately not happen again at Heinz Field.

Other guy is right. No more Reed. No more Lewis. But idk it’s Baltimore and Flacco
Were either on the team when they gave us a run for our money in 2014? I remember clearly the lead up to that divisional game and people were entirely dismissing the Ravens for the same reasons. Sure enough they opened two 14 point leads against us.

They are certainly different (worse) but I don't take them lightly, even with new players. I would still prefer them over KC but let's not pencil it in as automatic.

Ravens don’t even have a mediocre offense anymore that can win games because of their D. It’s been a pretty awful offense all season.

Ravens never had a stout offense its always been their d

If the D comes to play, we'll scrape the Chiefs. Plus, it’ll be a revenge game ;)

even if it is KC, I dont think they can come in here and pull off what they did a 2nd time in the same season. This team also is much different now than the team that started off 5-0. didnt they lose 5 straight?

EIther way, this is why #1 seed is so important. if pats have to play on the road its more of a 50-50 shot IMO

I don’t think the match ups matter that much, they simply have to play their best football if the season for three games. If they do they win #6, if they don’t it’s another really good season in the books.

If they win #6 the debate about the greatest team in football history is over and the Belichick/ Brady Patriots win it going away

Don't dismiss the Ravens offense yet. They are 4th in points in the AFC and playing better now than the beginning of the year (it has come against softer opponents, but the AFC as a whole sucks)
Their defense is the stronger unit on that team but took a big hit with Jimmy Smith out.
The pats should beat them if they meet up but I expect a hard fought game

If we make the Super Bowl, who would you guys prefer we play?

Jags could very well be spiraling out of control! They too could also be one and done depending on who gets the 6Th seed which would send the winner of the KC/Baltimore game to Pittsburgh! There's so many different scenarios that can happen before our first playoff game!

I will concede the fact that most of the games that are listed in my two posts happened a long time ago. One of our members chose to cherry pick 4 games and that does not tell the story either.

The Ravens are in some Pats fans heads even more than Belichick and the Patriots are in the Steelers heads.

Baltimore's current hot streak consists of beating Green Bay (Hundley as a turnover machine); Texans by 7 at home (without Watson, Watt, Mercilus, and Cushing); Detroit (1-5 vs winning teams this year); the winless Browns and the pathetic Colts. Prior to that the Ravens had lost 3 out of 4 (including losses to the Titans and Bears), and 5 out of 7. The Baltimore Sun should hire CHB to recycle one of his tomato can columns.

Any team that makes the playoffs has to be taken seriously. But this Ravens phobia is ridiculous. What happened seven years ago is irrelevant. Both teams have almost completely different rosters now. Why not the same concern for the Chiefs, who beat the Patriots handily in 2017? That would make more sense.

all else equal, I'd rather face Black Bortels, a guy with zero playoff experience, than Jump ball playoffs Flacco...
