Happy Birthday, BB.

Listening to the interview in the Mission BBQ, I could tell that life is good for you. Long may it continue.

Happy birthday.

Heres where he starts up the line: there may be time to talk about that at some point. Lol.

From Reiss.
"I'm always amazed how he takes the non-stars and makes them stars," Meyer said. "He takes these players that you haven't really heard much about and all of a sudden they're making great plays in the biggest games of the year.

"I started asking him about it and he made this point to me and I shared this with our team. He said, 'At this point in my career, I want to coach guys I like. I want to coach guys I want to be around and that's it and 'I'm not going to coach anybody else.'"

Is that what happened to Jamie Collins?

We're on to 66

And hopefully 67, 68 and 69. it seems to me the Pats are doing more with FA in the off season than in the past this year. Am I right? Usually in Hockey when. A team builds with FA in off season some one like coach, GM, or Owner is leaving after that year.

It might just have to do with getting guys that are coachable as opposed to rolling the dice on rookies at rookie positions.
For every DeAndre Hopkins there are 10 Chad Jackson's

He's 65, they should dump him and make McDaniels the coach.

I read this and about laughed too much. After all the threads about Brady vs jag. Wow..lol

Anyone else really pullling for a chance to appreciate the symmetry of getting a 6th ring in his 66th year? Here's hopin'!

As an aside, I'm really hoping Patricia rather than McD is the next HC of the NEP. Nothing against McD, I just think that defensive coordinators on the whole tend to be able to figure out how to set up offenses just a bit better than offensive coordinators figure out how to set up defenses. And offenses are easier to set up simply through sheer personnel management than defenses are.

That besides the fact that I'm under the impression that Patricia of the two is doing more with less right now and thereby making more valuable contribution, but that relies on the fact that we have not that many real name brand stars on D and making the assumption that Brady would be at least good no matter who the OC was.

So I'd rather have the guy with large amounts of experience working with defenses that are short of name brand talent, in a great system that he pulls his not inconsiderable weight in sustaining, than the guy with the large amount of experience working with a legendary quarterback who makes his job easier. Looking at it objectively if you have to compare Patricia and McD directly, I thnk you have to say Patricia is the better coach.

Well, when Skippy turned down other coaching opportunities it was obvious that Krafty Bob saw the Borges Cliff closing in on In Bill We Trust, so his days are clearly numbered. They obviously can't pay both as top head coaches and Belichick is 65 so he is essentially useless from here on out, thus it's Skippy's team going forward.

Take it for what it's worth but PFF has Belichick winning the Super Bowl this season, but then turning immediately into Wayne Fontes, and that's really not a legacy we can live with. Better to do as Bill would do and cut his sorry ass a year early than to watch him turn into ............

Wayne Fontes

And don't get me wrong, I love Bill Belichick, I just don't want to see him become Wayne Fontes. Just dump him now, the future is Skippy.

Right..it would be too painfull to watch bb degenerate before our eyes. Even though he just won the superbowl..father time is undefeated and bb is sute to start making huge mistakes..develop a shake and what not.
