PatsFans.com Roll Call

I became a fan when I was at my aunt's house in Maine and the "big kids" were watching the '85 AFC Championship game against Miami. My brother and I wanted to find some cartoons, but the other guys in the room wouldn't let us change the channel, and insisted on watching the game until it was over. I was sucked in, and I've been a fan ever since through thick and thin. That's my story in a nutshell!

Hi there!
I'm from the Netherlands.
Pats fan since they beat the Ravens in AFCCG.

hey there,

pats fan from germany since 2000, when i was 12 years old!

Hi.
I am still in mourning. I re-watched the game and I hurt even more. I really think if you win the toss always take the ball first. Scoring on the first drive ususally sets the tone for the game. What a dissappointment.

Anyway:
Name: Jaret Cherkewick
Location: Canada, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta
Fan since: 2000

I am a huge fan, cannot get enough of the Pat's and the NFL. Never went to an NFL game, but seen the Pro-Bowl in '07, when I thought the Pats were gonna have the miricle season, but they lost and Brady never came to the game

Talk to you soon.

Jaret

the first patriots game i ever watched was the 96 super bowl when i was 6. been a fan ever since. 22 and ive never had the money to go to a game

I'm a Bills fan, but I come in peace.

I have lived in Tokyo, Japan for more than 15 years but get home when I can.

I went to the old Foxboro once and wasn't impressed. It was back in the days when we were still decent, when we still had Kelly, but after the Super Bowl years, and while I enjoyed the game, I didn't think much of the stadium. I hear your new place is fantastic.

Hey there.

I don't usually introduce myself in these type of posts, but I'll make an exception. I am from Spain and have been a Pats fan since '05. I think the 1st game I watched was the Patriots-Bills of the 2004 season (the broadcasters were talking a lot about the winning streak, but can't remember exactly what game was), it was a rebroadcast at about summer of the following year, and with that 1st game I fell in love with the team, and with that #12 who played so well and seemed to have always everything under control. And that is it, after that, a Pat fan for life (21 now).

Hello everyone,

Brand new to the boards here. No prior lurking or anything, so I'm completely unfamiliar with the forum. I currently live about 20 minutes south of Baltimore, but was born in Boston, lived there til I was about 11 at which point I moved to Green Bay. Been a Patriots fan since I really cared enough to follow a team (I root for all Massachusetts teams) to include being maybe the one guy in Green Bay rooting for the Patriots against the Packers in the Super Bowl. I guess you could say about 16 years, though I admittedly didn't follow sports closely at all when I started claiming them.

So far I've only had a chance to go to one Patriots game and that was this past season in Washington, D.C. Thankfully (I guess) they play the Ravens here this year. So I fully intend to be there.

Hi to you all!

I was born in Boston and split time growing up between here and Block Island RI.

Season ticket holder since 1989. I actually bought my season tickets due to the prodding of a longtime Bills fan and season ticket holder whose daughter was working with me on the Island at the time.

I teach at a public high school in Boston during the year and work a family business on BI on weekends and in the summer months.

*** Thank you to all our service men and woman for your dedicated service to our country. I noticed a vast number of you as I was reading through this thread. Again thank you!

Greetings from Central America, Paul here, Pats fan since my dad told me to watch Houston Antwyne. We're going to have a special season. The team overachieved last year but it will be hitting its stride this year. Really, not a bad year for a rag tag defensive backfield and a few games down the Haynesworth toilet. Nice recovery and now they have a much more solid cast of characters.

Over and out ....

Pats fan for life
Currently on waiting list, been on for about 7 years.
Ready for a redemption season!

Hi Everyone!
I am new to the board! My name is Kim Rogers. I am from Reno, NV. I've been a Patriots fan for about 10 years now, and there's a funny story behind how this started-

I have never been to New England, and I've lived in Northern Nevada my entire life. I was raised in a house where sports were a huge part of our lives, but living in a town with zero professional sports meant little loyalty for teams on my end, but my father is a huge St. Louis Rams Fan (he's originally from LA). For the last 15 years, my parents have had a huge Superbowl party, and for Superbowl XXXVI, I loved rooting on the other side of the Rams, simply to give my dad a hard time. I remember every moment of Superbowl XXXVI, and that's truly when I can say I became a Patriots Fan - since then, I've never missed watching a game, I've traveled to see the team whenever they're on the West Coast (even braved the game in Oakland last year ;) ).

It's nice to "meet" everyone!

Kim

As my alias strongly indicates, I'm a poster from far far away. Finland to be exact.

I am a fairly new fan to this sport, despite my loyalty to Patriots dates back to 1996 when my brother-in-law visited Mass for an exchange year.

Only been actively following the sport for few years now, but active posting at NFL.com (mostly with fans of other teams) and Patriots.com boards (that got closed today) and countless hours of watching football (and even more hours playing Madden) have given me some insight to this great sport.

As a poster, I'm very active and I get along with almost everyone, regardless of their favourite team. I hope that Patsfans.com is a board to my liking, and if that is the case, then you will be seeing me around a lot. :D

Welcome all. Darkpatriot34 from several years of posting on the now defunct NFLPatriot messageboard--or Big brother Fred banned me again...lol.

Either way, looking forward to more openminded, knowledgable and not-so-sensitive fans here....

Are there any "mods " here--please say no....

Hi, hello, greetings and whatever else I couldn't think of.

My name is Creative Username. Or at least... That's what my profile says. I don't actually know what my real name is

Looking forward to posting for years to come and actually getting replies... I didn't know about this site until about twelve hours ago.

And it took me about a half hour to figure out that the security question said "what is the FIRST NAME of the head coach of the patriots?". I spent more time than I'm proud to admit typing Lou Saban over and over because I thought it said what is the name of the first head coach of the patriots.

But yeah... Been a fan for as long as I can remember... I was born during one of our team's greatest years of all time... 1992.
