Congrats to Indy on a decent season. But I'm in a player hatin' mood.

The moment Peyton Manning disregarded Tony Dungy and sent the Colts punt team off of the field on 4th down - he made it known to all of America that this was his team, and his team only.

The loss to Pittsburgh is entirely on his shoulders in my opinion.

...and kudos to the Steelers for beating him.

Hell yeah, Murph!!!! If Peyton is the best QB in the league, he should be able to take charge and bring them all the way back. He hasn't won a significant game yet!!! Man, that monkey on his back must be the size of King Kong right now!!!! FOTK, BABY!!!!!!!

Peyton did NOT play well for most of the game, but he did have us in position to win the game.

Thats the 2nd postseason game vandy has cost us. I wonder if he even went into the lockerroom after the game. He shouldn't have been allowed to. I mean, that kick WASN'T EVEN CLOSE.

He's the choker on this team, not Peyton.

So Peyton's 4 picks in the 2003 AFC divisional playoff game were Vanderjaak's fault?

Sorry, but you can have more than one choker per team.

You're so blind in your love for Manning. The Colts never should have been in position to do anything if that pick wasn't incorrectly overturned (great read, king of the chokers), and for that matter, if Bettis hadn't been completely braindead and had actually held on to the ball with two hands after your "great" QB held the ball on 4th and 17. Peyton is a choker, he comes up small in the postseason, deal with it.

Had Peyton's INT been correctly ruled they would have never had that opportunity.

That one is all on Manning.

lets Just look at the Checklist of all the excuses.

Homefield........check
No Snow.........check
Bye week........check
Good defense...check(2nd in the NFL in Points Allowed)
best supporting cast on offense in the NFL...check
No Pats...........check
Refs looking for every possible way to get Manning the win, and making up a few...check

No more excuses!

Peyton is a tremendous QB when the odds are stacked in his favor, and the stakes aren't high.

Once the stakes go up, he turns back into a pumpkin.

Look no further then the Tenn Vols and see what they did the season he left.

Great QB, just not a big game QB!

Ultimately, Vanderjerk is the goat... I feel that if the game had gone to overtime Indy would have won.

But as of 1:29 to play Peyton was the goat - and the only reason he wasn't was because of Bettis' fumble.

WRONG! You shouldn't have even kicked that one because that WAS an interception by Troy Polamalu (sp?). You got 8 points on that drive, so technically Peyton choked, the refs just let you back in.

Now as far as MV, that just shows why you need a kicker named Adam Vinatieri.

The Colts are finished, done and on there way out.

Tomorrow, I better see some of the national media writers stepping up to call Manning the dog that he is. His behavior and play was absolutely disgracefull today. Everything was setup for the Colts perfectly and once again, Manning plays his worst game of the year in the playoffs. Champions elevate their games in the playoffs, not play their worst games of the year for the last 3 years in a row.

1. He showed up Dungy by telling the punt team to get off the field. (he did score so at that point he was lookin good, but you just don't show up the coach)

2. He was even condescending to the fans, on one play after a false start he was pissed off at the fans, blaming them for being to loud.

3. After the game he totally throws his teamates and o-line under the bus, saying "I'm trying to be a good teamate, but we had protection problems. (aka it wasn't my fault, how could it be my fault, I am the best)

4. Reggie Wayne and Edge are now free agents. I guarentee you they are on the first bus out of town, getting as far away from Manning as they possibly can.

I'll tell ya' what, if I'm Tony Dungy I'm calling a press conference tomorrow and resigning. That's twice I've seen (and I don't watch the Colts much at all) Payton override him on the field. I'd call a press conference and say that obviously Manning can coach as well as play QB, so it's a waste of the Irsay's money to pay me. He'll have a lot of plum jobs available, ones without the offense devouring 80% of the cap room. I know Tony's a humble man, but how many times are you going to allow the prima donna to show you up on television by overturning your calls?

I didnt see the game, I was out for the day.
What exactually happened with Manning overturning Dungy's call?

4th and 1 or 2 for the Colts. The punt team was sent out, but Manning stayed on the field, waved off the punt team, and ran a play which worked.

If you are the Colts...you can have MANY chokers. The whole team that is. Including the owner, gm, head cheerleaders...

Wow. You people are insane with your hatred of Peyton.

The guy played a terrible game. I've already admitted it. But, as bad as he played, the o-line played worse. He got hit more times today than he did ALL SEASON. Pitt gets a lot of credit for that, but the o-line play was...well...offensive today. End of story.

It's funny. Denver gets all sorts of pressure on Brady, making him play like crap, and you guy's are falling all over yourselves to blame everyone else. Same thing happens to Indy, and, well obviously, it's Peytons fault.

At least Peyton got his team in position to tie the game. More than you can say for Tom.

LMAO.

Brady said that his o-line played great, and even noted that he didnt get sacked.
Manning pointed fingers.

That right there shows me who is better.
