Along with football, I'm sorely missing all the other good stuff that goes with watching games.
My friend and I always go to a local sports bar around 11 am, bring a grill, some beers, sausages, or the occasional can of clam chowder. We pop in a CD and sit in our folding chairs, grilling sausages and making bets with the USA Today spreads until about 12.45, then head in to watch the games. Sounds really dumb but it's actually a blast! Everyone who drives up tells us we have the coolest idea. Now that I'm back from Prague for good, I'm looking to buy a Patriots flag and get some magnets to stick on the car to make it all a bit more festive. I can't go to a game to tailgate so I do the next best thing.
What do you guys do if you aren't actually going to the game? Any cool pregame rituals I could learn from?
