* Ye Olde 2013 Mock Draft Thread!! *

trade down from 1 ending up a early 3, and 3 4s

2. Stedman Bailey WV, great hands, very smart, good route runner, strong enough to beat the press. Would be great in the slot if Welker leaves.

3. Justin Pugh - OT Syracuse - very mobile from western PA

3. Leon McFadden - CB San Diego State - prepare for mccourty leaving in 2014 and most likely talib in 2013

4. Markus Wheaton - WR b/c so many here like him

4. Gerald Hodges OLB - Penn State
4. Malicciah Goodman - DE Clemson

5. Terry Hawthorne - CB Illinois, b/c Wilson worked out so well

Like all those picks except the last.

^Doesnt McFadden play in a zone system? I think we need to look at bigger, more physical corners who play press man.

I think if we don't re-sign Vollmer, Lane Johnson is a very good bet as the first pick unless BB really doesn't like the Oklahoma program.

Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma, NFL Draft - CBSSports.com - NFLDraftScout.com

A former quarterback, tight end and defensive end, he started at right tackle last year, but moved to the left side in 2012, winning the starting job right before the season opener.

Positional flexibility at the offensive tackle position is mandatory, especially for a first round selection.

I've had that idea for awhile, I just hope that scenario doesn't play out. Like Johnson, just don't want it to work out that way.

You are unwise to lower your defenses.

I like it. But, could we trade down a little and still get Greene? Pick up a 3 and get Mayo's boy Markus Wheaton.

I think he's just doing it deliberately now :)

Not pissed at all.

Clearly "Mayo's boys" must be Jonathan Cooper, Ziggy Ansah, Alec Ogletree, Markus Wheaton, Terrance Willaims, Terron Armstead and Caraun Reid. Anyone I left out?

I thought about that, but I could see the Giants or Eagles taking Greene in the 2nd ahead of the Pats.

Leon McFadden and KLM. Kyle Van Noy next year. :p

Even though I'm as conservative as anyone, I'm going to be a socialist on this one.

Mine are everyone's. :)
