Me too. I thought Parcells was crazy when he released him. Interesting to compare his career with Wilie McGinest since they came in at the same time.

I think he left during Pete Carroll's regime, not Tuna's.

No. Slade left after the 2000 season, meaning Belichick let Chris go.

I loved Slade when he was here, and was rather surprised his career in the NFL was short when compared to other Pats LBs.

Wow. Really? I have a blank space in my mind from when Pete Carroll was coach but I could have sworn it was Parcells. I take your word for it though.

Yeah, Slade was around until after the 2000 season. Parcells was long gone by then.

I don't know about you guys, but whenever I hear motor vehicle incident and Patriots, I think Randy Moss. There must be a connection. I can't wait for Kravitz' next expose.

I'm guessing you don't remember Irving Fryar.

One thing I noticed is that several New England media covered this story, yet the Boston Globe never did. Maybe Mike Reiss felt it wasn't newsworthy enough for print.

Reiss (thank God) is a football reporter. Chris Slade hasn't played in the NFL since 2001.

She's about 10 years too late!

The Globe headline is "Woman allegedly drives onto football field"... how is that alleged at all? It's pretty clear.

Media: "The woman just wanted to see Chris Slade!! Why couldn't they let this poor, sick woman see Chris Slade??"

This **** is hysterical.
