A few things.
1) Peters isn't over-rated. Since you clearly weren't paying attention, the guy was out with an injury until recently.. He'd only been practicing a few days before the game.

DaBruinz, while Peters was terrific in 2007, he was one of the worst staring LTs in the league last year. Who knows what his real talent level is.

Peters also held out all of camp.. Which clearly affected his level of play most of the season...

Winners

1.) The passing game with Brady back in the line up.

2.) The return game. We have some playmakers battlling to contribute.

Losers

1.) The pass rush. BB just does not have the horses at some key spots. OLB?

2.) Short yardage run offonse. On 4th and 1,even if your QB broadcasts the upcoming play over the stadium loud speakers, your OL must STILL be able to pick that up for you. Very disappointing.

He's an overpaid/overfed turd.
He'll get smoked all year long.

1.) Yes-right on!
2.) Yes-right on!

1.) Incorrect. We won the game. You're basing the pass rush on our 4-3 experiment with new players at new positions? Come on! Give it some time-it WILL be better-esp. when we confuse the **** out of offenses.
2.) Incorrect. Our running game is fine for ALL YARDAGE and we have the personnel to do it. The O line does better at pass protection so I see where you're coming from.

WTF are you talking about?

How many times did McNabb have in the pocket? all night the dude was running out of the pocket during the first half. It's not always about putting up 10 sacks a game like people want. McNabb's a good QB at making plays out the pocket, but if we rushed more QBs like we did thursday this defense is going to be plain nasty. Once you get certain guys out of the pocket, the offense is shut down.

The commentators constantly said the Patriots were beating up the Eagles OL on passing downs, and they were. It looked like they were pretty much pushing the OL back. Now run defense is a different matter, they need to work on it in the 4-3 because teams could expose that, thank god we're a shifty D ;]

Exactly! Philly can have all the "scrambled eggs" they want in a McNabb or Vick...it will excite the beeotches (w/no football knowledge) that get off on flashy crap like the Wildcat and scramblers...that why I believe for all those scrambles....you gotta ROUGH THAT PASSER! That one second to knock the wind out of the snake from the blindside. Bam! Lights Out!

Remember when Donovan was winded, blowing chunks in the SB???? I loved it....jsut like the look on Eli's face when he was drafted #1-but to the "wrong" team. I want revenge for the past few years...I'm depressed and I'd really like to see our defense stick the knife in and twist it with some of these teams. There-done venting.

As far as "shifty"......right on!
Remember .....
3x4 or 4x3
Equals 12-
Let's go D!
