It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Post hearing briefs are not due to be filed until sometime this week, and then Goodell will need some time to cogitate his navel.Looks like Roger dodger and his cronies are going to delay this decision unnecessarily long. I believe we still have to push for a neutral arbitrator and then take it to court. If they take forever to do this might not have time to get a decision before the opener.
The sad thing is I doubt Kraft is even using his influence to get a quick decision from Goodell.
Goody's decision will be in the middle to the end of training camp trying to bring a huge distraction and dragging the Pats in the mud again while getting ready for the season. Delaying this much to come to a very simple verdict in a case that is already lasting too long it's gonna be another strong argument for the sting operation.
Brady's team probably have their case ready and are just waiting. Oh God if I had the power, I'm almost exchanging a SB victory for a nuclear blast in a federal court without precedents, with people being handcuffed.
I agree though it occurs to me that the NFL's season opener gala would be less of a draw were Brady not playing and would call further attention to the circus investigation and the NE fan's reaction. An injunction would permit the opener to proceed with full regalia and without distraction from the fans, which would have to please Kraft et al. If part or all of the suspension is upheld by the courts, Brady would miss these games later in the season.A final court decision would take many months after the decision by the league. I would expect that the union would file for an injunction allowing Brady to play in Game One, and to con tune playing until there is a final decision. If there is a court-determined suspension, I would expect that to a happen mid-season or more likely at the beginning got the 2016 season.
