Normally in New England, today i was driving across northwestern Arizona.
On a map, if you put a finger on Phoenix ... another on Vegas ... and a third on Salt Lake,
somewhere in the middle would be Seligman.
The true middle of nowhere.
But in Seligman, AZ is Lilo's Westside Cafe - a superior eatery in these parts.
Stopped there mid-afternoon for a bite to eat. They have a tv in the dining room.
They also have NFLN. But on second thought, that shouldn't be so surprising.
No cable service there, so it's satellite reception or nothing.
Three hours before the game, i looked up to see our Pats jousting with the Jets (Game 2).
They had NFLN on for all to see.
All the pre-game hoopla.
Had any similar experience today?
