“There was a lot of trade speculations and rumors about, you know, me getting traded obviously from the Jets to other, multiple teams,” Bell said on Uninterrupted’s 17 Weeks podcast on SiriusXM/Pandora. “And they were actually true. There were times where — I found out from my agent, you know, he had talked to the Jets and things like that. But there were teams like Houston, the Packers, the Kansas City Chiefs, and surprisingly the Steelers, were all in the mix of trying to trade for me.”

A trade didn’t happen because, as Bell explained it, “the Jets were really asking for a high price and a lot for me.” He also said that teams were reluctant to take on his contract, and that “I obviously was not trying to take a pay cut simply for that fact that I sat out a full year of football to get what I felt like I earned and deserved.”

Texans WR Will Fuller V (hamstring), S Tashaun Gipson Sr. (back/wrist), CB Lonnie Johnson Jr. (concussion), C/G Greg Mancz (concussion) and CB Bradley Roby (hamstring) will not travel with team to London for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.

Redskins hope to not have to pay Williams
-Non-football related injury

Jets issue with Osmele is ugly.
Not enough to just be incompetent
they seem to be going all in on evil

Billionaires not wanting to pay their bills is not a pretty thing to watch in action.

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton will miss his sixth straight game this weekend due to a foot injury and he’s reportedly headed for another medical opinion about the issue.

Josina Anderson of ESPN reports that Newton is going to see Dr. Robert Anderson in Green Bay about his injury. Anderson is frequently visited by NFL players dealing with foot issues and was the Panthers’ orthopedist from 2000-2017, so he’s a familiar face to Newton...

Report: Cam Newton meeting with foot specialist

It’s been seven weeks since Cam Newton last played football. It may be more than seven weeks before he plays again.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL reports that Newton’s sprained foot “is not getting better,” and that “[p]laying football is a long way off.”

Per Rapoport, Newton will make the trip to see Dr. Robert Anderson in Green Bay because the condition isn’t improving...

Week 9 TV Maps are up.

Most of the nation gets Indy at Pitt, Packers at Chargers, and Vikings at Chiefs.

Like getting the Indy game with my man Bisquick. Want him to silence those towel waving fools.
2nd game GB @ Chaaagiz, meh. At least it's Tony Romo. But I'll probably have to tune out the St Aaron ball washing. Oh wait! Gonna watch KC vs Vikes instead.

Marking this "funny" seems very wrong. The team continually misdiagnosed and missed cancer in their player, as the bump continued to grow (and status was reported to the team).

I've heard that Pro Bowl players often get swelled heads.

maybe

I think that the skins are trying to protect themselves from losing the obvious lawsuit by the player and their association. The growth, and the increasing size, was reported to the team by Williams. The team kept on saying that it was nothing, and that nothing needed to be done. The growth turned out to be cancerous and had to be removed.

if Andy Dalton's house goes on the market in Cincinnati, will Schefter speculate on Dalton's future with the Bengals "just based on the facts"?

Literally just talking abt a billionaire (Fish) not paying his bills & letting companies go under. Amazing these guys get away w the **** they do. Disgusting.

This is actually huge

Who the feck is Andy feckin Dalton to dictate terms? Feckin clueless dork loser.
Yeah he’s not special but he wasn’t dictating terms, he was questioning management’s process or lack thereof given their reasons for benching him and waiting too long without first seeing if there was a market for him and perhaps a getting a return. You know, kind of what you do every single ****ing day here on this forum. So careful how you phrase that approach.

Tough blow to their athleticism at LB. Fred Warner’s pretty good though.

Amazing how many QBs are set up to fail. This kid won't recognize any faces in a few months when half the organization is gone.

Honestly don't think theres a worse situation in football then drafting a QB high. Knowing or having a good idea the current staff might be it. Trotting said QB out there until the rug is pulled out underneath them & a whole new staff os brought in. You cant make it work after that your QB is toast.

W/e someone thinks of Rosen its a shame what happened from a football pov.
