We are not drafting Sapp, Hughs, Graham or Kindle. This is what I expect from our beloved Hoodie:

    1st round
    22. Jared Odrick, NFL ready 3/4 End

    2nd round
    44. Damian Williams, WR NFL ready receiver (special teams also)
47 trade for 3 and 4th and 5th rounder (according to value charts) too much value in rounds 3-5 to only have one 4th round pick)
53 Mike Johnson, OL Versatile, looks like young Hog Hannah, excellent run blocker, some insurance for Neal. I love Stephen Neal as much as anyone but who knows if he holds up physically

    Third Round
65 From trade)Toby Gerhart RB Great blocker and good receiver, good all around back, need to start taking pressure off Brady by running for some 1st downs. Might not be here. ( M. Hardesty)

    4th round
97 (from trade) Tony Moeaki, TE, Iowa (Great Value here)
119 Daniel Te'o-Nesheim, DE, Washington, here is your pass rusher, a younger, slightly larger Tedy Bruschi

    5th round
132 (from trade) Amari Spievey, CB, Iowa, Hoodie not happy with Wheatley, Wilhite

6th and 7th round depth, possible inside linebacker, OG, Special teams JAGS ect, possible diamonds in the rough(Edelman, Givens ect)

I agree ... we had Vince Wilfork setting the edge vs the Ravens ... enough said.

Awesome! Thanks, Nick Caserio, for the insider opinion! Glad to know what you guys are expecting.

That said, I am suprised that you guys involved with The Pats don't expect to address your holes at both outside backer positions. No mention of either Joker or Sam. No Mike either? Nick, you must know something I do not.

    Ha! I'll betcha a beer.

As far as Odrick everyone on this forum is expecting him to be the Pats pick so I suspect that the Patriots will not draft.

However the one sure-fire rock-solid lock in this draft is that the Patriots will not draft Tebow. Why? Because Felger loves the guy. Also because BB has actually talked about him. Bet the bank on this.

Another lock is that the Patriots will try to trade (down probably) to get a third round pick.

Great plan, the Pats pass rush was about the worst in the NFL last year and your plan is not not improve it at all. Please tell me some free agents or trades will be made to boost the OLB. Maybe you like the deadly combinations of:
    TBC
    Crable
    Thomas
    Woods
    Nincovich
    Te'o-Nesheim

That would with out a doubt be one of the worst set of OLBs in the NFL. I not saying they draft 4 pass rushers in rounds 1 or 2 but would be shocked if one is not added.

I think I would be fairly happy with that draft. I think we are better off keeping the 2nd though, who cares about 3rd round when you have 3 2nds?

We might wait for our LB. We certainly have before.

I can't see Gerhart being there at 65. We might need to use our 47.

I'm fine with a 4th round TE. Dickenson might also be there, although he is moving up.

i would agree if you had said the 1st pick, or even the 1st two picks but not 1st 2 rounds

Theres opportunity in 6th and 7th round to add Linebackers. Joker, Mike or Sam. I'm guessing Joker.

I wouldn't rule out ANY position outside of K or P in the first two rounds. Those of you who think you know how BB will draft, well you just don't. History proves this.

    I like Te'o-Nesheim, I think he's underrated in a lot of mocks.

Regardless of the value chart, has any team ever really given up a 3, 4 & 5 for a mid-2nd?

They would really have to want that prospect badly. (Personally, I'd never do a 3 for 1 but there are some pretty lousy GMs out there so you never know).

Going strictly by the trade value chart, such a trade could happen and add up as 'fair' exchange of value.
