Why? Let's say he wins the rest of his starts before the break. Currently, no one else has more wins then he does. He wouldn't start by any means, but if he's leading the league with wins, why not?

Hes not leading the league in wins, Halladay does.. Halladay is also still scheduled to make his next start on saturday so if hes fine he will lead the league in wins still at the all-star break... hes just too nasty to stop winning if hes not injured... i do want to see wake in the all-star game though, too many times he gets overlooked.. he is so valuable to the sox each and every year with his versitality.. he can start one day and come in a game and eat up innings 2 days later if we are getting blown out.. It would be nice to see him get some appriciation and get into the allstar game..
Wake made it!
There are guys out there having better seasons but it's nice to see they picked him to finally get to his first ASG.
Stuff the other 5... well done Wake!
Joe Maddon was just interviewed during the Tampa Bay-Texas game on tv and reading between the lines he essentially said there was no way that he was going to let Wake not be an all-star this year.
Classy move, and congrats to Wake.
