I remember him arguing to have an error that he made in the field changed to a hit while the Sox pitcher (I forget who it was) had a no-hitter going.
Why are you guys trying to Bogg down on him so much?
Funny how the Yankees, didn't consider him a "true yankee" the six guys that they had to throw out the first pitch.
Boggs, basically sold himself out, with that stint in NYC. He has no "home" now, is he a Sox, a Yankee, or a (don't say Devil) Ray?
The only thing that he can effectively sell no is hair replacement:::

wtf are you talking about? what was everbody supposed to do put on a yankees cap? boggs went into the hall of fame as a redsox player. every other hof out there had on there cap that they went into the hall with. some had two. boggs played what? one year with the suckees? he should have had enough respect for the sox and had there cap on.Cuz Boston fans are holier than thou, haven't you been paying attention.
BTW, did it ever occur to any of you that last night's All-star game was IN NEW YORK CITY! Sheesh. I guess Boggs should have worn a Redsox cap in an Allstar tribute, for the last year of Yankee Stadium. Especially since it was the team & stadium he played and won in.

yahoo this buddy.i know boggs won a ws with the yanks. i said so in my first post. did he or did he not go into the hall with a sox hat on? and did every other hof on the field that night have the hat of the team they went into the hall with?Typical yahoo fan. Boggs played 5 seasons with the Yankees. He won a World Series with them. I think Mo Vaughn described your type best.
your right. hes a ****. i just found it irritating. it came off to me like he was pandering to yankee fans. i wish the sox never put him in the redsox hof he doesnt deserve the recognition.I'm glad he wore a Yankee hat, who cares.
The less people think Wade Boggs=Red Sox and the more they think Wade Boggs=Yankees the better as far as I'm concerned. The only ballplayer Wade ever worried or cared about was Wade, the guy for whom the phrase "There's no I in TEAM" was coined. He stunk out the joint in 88 and 90 vs the A's in the playoffs.
After the Red Sox won the World Series in 2004, I thought of Teddy Ballgame, Johnny Pesky, **** Raditz, Yaz and Jim Rice. Wade Boggs did not make the cut, who cares about that sh!tstain.
