The NFL and Roger Goodell have fined Wilfork but have decided not to suspend him for his elbow to the head of Jay Cutler. Wilfork was fined 4 different times last year but never suspended.
But to be fair, i beg the question, how does a player who gets fined 5 times in a year and a half be allowed to continue to play when he is clearly showing no respect for the NFL rules, and has established a precident to continue to break them despite being fined. Only a total of 45k for all 5 incidents and that is next to nothing compared to what this player makes. I do not feel the punishment is nearly enough and as Wilfork has shown in the past, its certainly not deturing him from continuing to make dirty hits.
