I've got comments on this... but I'll just put it on there for now.

They must of thought we go after him with Rodney’s injury.

    Only the Dolphins?

Obviously there is the Bill Parcells connection here and the need for some leadership in that secondary. I think Will Allen is very decent, but I don't know if the other guys have any business covering the likes of the top 75 percentile of NFL WRs.

I think Law, by late season, would really solidify the secondary. He probably as just as much talent as any of the other guys not named Will if not more, so it makes sense. And if they want to pay him, go for it.

Jerry... you want to raise the cost?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Cowboys called Law's agent, but I am more surprised it hasn't already come up in some rumors. Here you have Jones, who went out and traded pick after pick to the Lions for a wideout that didn't fill a need, given Owens, the emergence of Austin and continued growth of Crayton (who is a diva-soon-to-be troublemaker).

    And the Pats?

After getting thrown on all day against the Chargers, the Pats made no significant moves to solve the problem. I could understand that the Pats didn't want to pay him a grip of cash given his age and questions concerning his abilities.

After week one, I would understand that the Pats wouldn't want to commit as if they were making a Super Bowl run and toss money at him as if they were the Dallas Cowboys. Maybe this become a experience and learn season for some rookies so that they can make a difference next season.

I have to think that this team can, at least, make a run for the Playoffs. And I think that getting Law back in a Pats uniform and signing up Lynch to replace Harrisons leadership and intensity would be significant steps in getting into the playoffs. I just don't think that either move makes them dominate, but it surely puts them in a better situation than they are now.

    Disable Jersey

Whoa! And here I thought that the thread title was describing Ty's unusual conditioning program.

    #54 Jersey

My first thoughts on this. Excuse me while I throw up at the thought of seeing Ty in an Chokepins jersey.

    #85 Jersey

There's always that sick to your stomach feeling when you see a long time Part in another uniform. I still can't get used to Vinatieri in a Colts uniform...

I will feel the same way when I see Chad Jackson in a Donks uniform.

    Not.
