As part of the small minority who thought we were better off facing Denver in Denver than the Steelers in Foxboro, I feel about as good as I could possibly feel (i.e., just a very little bit "good") about Sunday's game, given that it is in Denver.
KC was supposed to have the best pass rush in the League and the only time they really hit Brady, they got flagged for 15. So, my biggest worry going into the game was mitigated.
The gap between Brady and Manning on the field is now truly significant...Manning is still dangerous and he only has to make one play to win the game, but I think the scales are now tipped in a major way to TB.
Edelman, Gronk and Amendola all looked to be in early season form yesterday.
I liked the way Jackson pounded the middle. He's going to make a big play at some point, either next week or three weeks from now...the one play for which they picked him up.
Manning has now played about six quarters without throwing a pick...he is way overdue for at least two.
All in all...I feel cautiously "good."
