I'm not speaking for anyone, I'm stating a fact. Everyone makes a stupid mistake sometimes. Everyone.

I have nveer made a stupdi mistake.

Evre.

Is anyone worried that the huge motivational boost you guys got from the whole Cameragate thing will disappear this week on the beaches and in the hotel rooms, discos, casinos and strip clubs of the world's most popular holiday destinations?

Everywhere they go, people will be telling them how great they are and how no one can beat them.

:wha:

Ummm . . . did you actually watch Sunday's game? Do you think Belichick is going to let them forget--even while they're enjoying their bye week--how they very easily could have lost?

And it's not like you need to worry about who you play when you come back in two weeks.

It's just the Bills and we suck.

Let's face it. No one in their right minds thinks we stand a chance to beat this magnificent operation.

No one except the team.

They have a chip on their shoulder too.

And it's growing rapidly.

Actually, no. The Bills are by no means under the Pats radar as much as they would like to be. The Bills have been playing good teams very tough. The Pats will be playing a solid team at home, with a National Audience, and that alone is something to worry about. A couple of years a go I remember a season where your team truly did suck and they beat the Pats 31-0 on opening day. The phrase "On any given Sunday" is not for nothing and Belichick and his team know it.

I thought that the Jills played the Fins this week. Talk about not being focused.

All they have to do is turn on the TV / Radio and listen to the National Media. Shula has already opened his mouth.

Losman is back as the starting QB of the Bills, right?

No problem with the motivation then.

Since the Bills will lose to Miami this weekend, the Pats can then clinch their division with a win in Buffalo... that's all the motivation they need.

Too bad you didn't have a post-diabetes picture of Tatum to put in your avatar... he wasn't as bad-ass with one leg.

NO

and the reason is simple...BB!
the Pats don't give a damn what the mediots say, the Pats know that the Bills will be ready, motivated , and will a big challenge.

One game at a time. You'll never ever hear anything else come from the Patriots. As far as being disrespected, count on it. Don Shula just stated that if the Patriots go undefeated the record will be tarnished (or something to that effect). Many of the experts are convinced that the Colts are at the same level as the Pats despite Sunday's win. One lame-brained ex-Steeler analyst has the Colts ranked higher then the Patriots. You figure that one out. Not everyone is on the bandwagon, nor will it be that way no matter how many wins the Patriots accomplish. Chip on the shoulder, count on it.

The Bills are now in second place in the AFC East. There's no way the Patriots overlook a divisional game between the top 2 teams. I think that's a lot of wishful thinking on your part. The Patriots way is not, as you crudely put it, based on 'banging skanky hos'. Rather it is a philosophy that is focused on winning every game, every week, and then winning a championship. Look for the Patriots to heal up and come out 100% against the Bills. Sorry to inform you, the Patriots won't take it easy on your team just because they had an extra week to rest up, most likely it will be worse for your team because BB has had that much MORE time to prepare an excellent game plan.

Heading to Buffalo .... I am sure the thing the Pats players are most concerned with is visiting the best "ballet joint" north of the border

The media hates us SOOOO bad, they will provide all the fodder we need week to week.

After all, this Patriots team is already a legend, no matter what happens from here on in. All these guys are young, healthy, wealthy young men exuding that alpha male scent.

Sounds like the recipe for one freaking awesome time.

It's just the Bills and we suck.

Why, even last night on Monday Night Football, the guys were saying that only three teams stood between the Pats and their unbeaten season, the Ravens, Steelers and Giants. Somehow the fact that we beat up the Ravens behind a rookie qb was as meaningless to them as the buttkicking they were watching on the field.

Let's face it. No one in their right minds thinks we stand a chance to beat this magnificent operation.

You're overplaying the whole camera-gate thing, the team's motivated because motivation is Belichick's job. The Pats might drop a game still, but I doubt it will be to Buffalo.

No problem indeed...

Wilfork fined

The NFL has fined Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfork $12,500 for his low hit on Bills quarterback J.P. Losman in Sunday's game, the league confirmed today.

The hit came on the first play of the game, with Wilfork lined up over center Melvin Fowler. Losman dropped back to pass and found running back Marshawn Lynch for a 4-yard gain to his right. As the play unfolded, Wilfork appeared to beat Fowler to his left, and was off his feet as he approached Losman (Wilfork said he was tripped and had another player hitting his leg). As he was in the air, Wilfork's right elbow flexed and made contact with Losman's left knee.

Earlier today, Wilfork said his intention was not to hurt Losman. He said he's attempted to speak with Losman but has yet to connect with him.

And if he makes any more stupid comments before the game like he did the first time, it'll be MUCH worse for him. The Pats will keep him healthy in the game. He'll just have to fake injury to get the hall pass this time.

Our players don't frequent strip clubs, they all have wives/girlfriends who do it for them at home.

Shiva, you are trying really, really hard to build the case for an overconfident Patriots team coming to Buffalo and struggling against a fired-up Bills team on the rise. It's not going to happen. The Pats are too focused and professional for that, and the veterans realize there's too much at stake for a letdown to occur. They realize full well that the Bills will bring all they have, especially on national TV. Patriots 38, Bills 17.

Cameragate was Belichick doing his job.

Providing motivation.
Oh, you're in the loonie "Belichick got caught on purpose to provide motivation" camp?

Yeah, I'm one of those guys who doesn't think Bill Belichick and Bob Kraft make stupid mistakes.

And I'll betcha anything Roger Goodell, Woody Johnson and Eric Mangini agree with me.

So you're saying Belichick is a genius?

Yeah, I'm one of those guys who doesn't think Bill Belichick and Bob Kraft make stupid mistakes.
Everyone makes stupid mistakes, Belichick just happens to make less of them. Or rather, he rarely makes the same mistake twice. But it would be foolish to think he's perfect. And I don't think Kraft had anything to do with it.

I'd watch it if I were you.

Some of your fellow Pats fans get their shorts in a knot over this sort of thing.

Remember, Tom Brady has knees too.

Lousy job of editing my comments, Shiva.

How about being honest?

I wrote that the "much worse part for Losman" would be that the Pats would make sure he stayed HEALTHY.

Your reply post was disingenuous, but if you want to play that game.........
