If you listened to fans around the league in 2008-09, there was plenty of griping about how quickly the NFL adapted the "Brady rule" after he was knocked out for the season on opening day, when other QB's had gone down with similar injuries in the past without any change to the rules. As with everything else, we all "stand where we sit." Personally, I always thought that Polian was just doing his job, advocating for his team. Over the top?
