Put together a mock this afternoon. Then I find out we're missing a fourth, suddenly. Thanks, BB. Don't you know I'm trying to work here??

I like that mock a lot although you're a little short on 6th round picks :). I don't know much about Seymour, but aside from that, I like every pick.

So I did my latest mock a couple of hours before the Bennett and McClellin signings so I'll just do a little adjusting.

Yep, I came up with a Top 200 List after the combine using CBS, ESPN, Draft Tek, NFL.com and Matt Miller on Bleacher Report. So I didn't have any from my list past that 2nd 6th Rounder.:D

21 Sterling Shepard - WR - Edelman replacement down the line
2b Shon Coleman - OT - Vollmer replacement down the line
3a Jordan Howard - RB - Bruiser RB to replace Blount
3b Cyrus Jones - CB - Good punt returner and probably a solid CB.
6 Wendall Williams - WR - perhaps the biggest freak in this draft
6 Adam Gotsis - DT - Pass rushing DT
6 Perice Slater - OT - prototypical OT
6 Stephen Weatherly - DE - prototypical DE
6 DJ Foster - RB - super fast and quick pass catching RB
7 Will Redmond - CB - Interesting but injured player. May need to sit a year due to ACL.. Could skyrocket up boards depending on how he looks before the draft
7 - ???? IDK MAN :p

That's an excellent way to do it. I've noticed some big discrepancies between CBS and ESPN.

For example. ESPN have Keanu Neal as their 49th ranked propspect. He's 229 at CBS. Hassan Ridgeway is 50 at ESPN, 144 at CBS. Jonathan Bullard is 44 at CBS, 82 at ESPN. And there are many more.

Yep noticed that as well. Could not find Landon Turner on the ESPN list, but he was no lower than 81 on the others. That's surely a mistake. Probably not the most effective way but I always take out the biggest number from each and Find the average of the other four.

I really think someone will take a flyer on him before us, and it may be a waste of a pick, but iffffffff you draft Jaylon Smith in the 2nd/3rd round and he sniffs his previous abilities. Just imagine Collins, Hightower, and Smith in 2017, assuming extensions and health.:eek:

I don't actually like Smith's tape that much. He's washed out too easily in the run game, and based on his size and play, I think he's more of a big safety than anything. Yes, he can pass rush and drop into coverage, and those are extremely valuable skills in today's NFL, but if I see him on the other side of the field, I just run at him all day. He couldn't shed a block to save his life in all the games I watched. Maybe I just watched the wrong tape, but I don't think he's a BB kind of guy.

I don't like Nassib very much, but I'd be fine with the other picks. Not sure Cyrus Jones should go that high, though. I do think he's easy to project in our secondary, but I'd prefer a lineman on either side of the ball that high in the draft.

Just took a look at my Top 200 list, which means it is most likely wrong, but here is what I found.

After taking out players at positions that we seem pretty set, like Safety, Quarterback, and Defensive End, these are the players that were in the range of 50-70 (I'm including OLB/DE types):

RB:
Jordan Howard
WR:
Braxton Miller
Sterling Shepard
Pharoh Cooper
OT:
Shon Coleman
Jason Spriggs
DT:
Adolphus Washington
LB:
Shilique Calhoun
Joshua Perry
Kentrell Brothers
Jordan Jenkins
CB:
Kendall Fuller
Artie Burns

Depending on availability (as always) we could fill two big needs at 60 and 61 with two of these players.

We could also try and turn one of our seconds into a early to mid 3rd and a 4th rounder as well. Then trade some 6th rounders for a 5th. Who knows what is going to happen with all these picks. I do know that Bill will not stand pat with that large gap between the 3rd and 6th rounds.

draft day deal with the buccaneers..... 60,61,92 for 39 and 71

Pats trade 91 to the Bears for 106,127,206
Pats trade 196,204,206,243 to Titans for 140

2.60 Jordan Jenkins, OLB, Georgia

4.106 Devon Cajuste, WR/TE, Stanford

I like his third round a whole lot more than his second

Luke Easterling has a 7 round mock out today. Not crazy about his picks. But, we could get
