Said it on the Jim Rome show just now. It's a long off season, and you can't let it go all that time. He's got to win them back with an apology real soon. Bradshaw said he heard Archie blasted him, but hadn't seen it yet, didn't know where it was (in print). Guess he doesn't do the Internet. Bradshaw sounded a bit contrite because of, I guess, he and Archie being contemporaries, but still let Peyton have it again.

well

Archie may have blasted him in private---but he was doing damag control like crazy yesterday for his son. Saying things like "PM didn't call out his o-line, the media did that and it's not PM's fault". I saw that on Cold Pizza, and heard he was on Mike and Mike as well!

Well if the O-line isn't his "protection", what is?

Bill Polian was just on WFAN and he absolved Peyton of ALL blame and laid it on the feet of the O-line. Interview got pretty feisty too.

Payton Manning doesn't owe his O-Line anything. The Colts won all those game as a team and they lost as a team. He didn't do the job he had and his O-line didn't do theirs.

Fine, maybe next year in the Colts first game, Peyton will take the snap and all the Offensive Linemen will do the Ole! thing. 3,4,5, 6 or 7 guys on the other team can split the sack.
