Ted Wells' Train Wreck Press conference :D

Pats Nation at WAR! Don Yee preparing ICBMs for launch!

So, are we starting a fellowship or something right now? I'm in. This arrogant prick Wells really has it coming to him. His explanations are laughable and in others they don't match up to his own report. The last part is hard to not laugh at.

Would the NY BAR association be interested in looking into this guy and his practices?

If anyone has a legitimate valid reason why and can put it into a detailed, professional looking letter...this is where you need to be sending:
Departmental Disciplinary Committee
Supreme Court, Appellate Division
First Judicial Department
61 Broadway, 2nd Floor
New York, New York 10006

Goody didn't plan this very well. Might have to whack Wells now.
I thought Goodell played it well but Wells "dropped the ball" on the report. Wells did have the most difficult role to play. To come up with a lengthy report despite any evidence damning Tom Brady. Goodell was already so invested in this that he had to follow through with the report.

The thing is Goodell can just hide behind the report, say he's not an expert in these matters and went off of Wells' conclusion. Goodell can also hide behind the fact he handed off the punishment to someone else. Goodell gets all the public favor and none of the risk, what he's done is so obvious that it's infuriating. In the corrupt scheme he has going though, it's hard to argue he could have done anything better.

"Asked about which gauge Walt Anderson used, Ted Wells associate Lorin Reisner said it “doesn’t matter.” Says it doesn’t change the science."

holy ****, quite possibly the dumbest thing anyone has ever said.

I think Wells/Reisner is gonna regret this one.

It very much DOES matter. The science is ALL that matters, all this text nonsense and bathroom breaks mean NOTHING if the numbers prove the balls weren't tampered with. Period, end of story. There's only one reason they used the gauge that Anderson said he didn't use, and that's because the numbers looked worse for the Pats.

Nothing he says matters, it's all in the report...but this one was a big mistake if any of this reaches court.

Fiery Ted Wells: "Discussion that [NFL] wanted to put some type of hit on most popular, iconic player...it's really a ridiculous allegation"

If that's true why did they reference spygate in the punishment? This is unraveling fast for Wells, someone needs to turn off his mic.

Most Popular? REALLY?

Did he see that poll where Brady was #1 by fans and beat out Ray Lewis, Suh, Rapethlisberger, etc. as the MOST HATED PLAYER IN THE NFL?

He seems awfully defensive about his investigation.
Well he's going to be getting sued by one of the richest sportsmen in America soon and will likely lose that nice hefty retainer the NFL will have his company on. So there's a good reason to be defensive :D

His name isn't going on the door at his company for a while now.

(would love for him to get dis-BAR'd too but that's highly unlikely)

Here's what the piece of **** looks like for anyone that doesn't know:

this is awesome. wells' comments may end up helping brady. lol, harvard educated lawyer...

@shalisemyoung
Wells has said twice that no one took the initial pre-game complaint/concern from the #colts seriously bc there was no hard evidence

i.e. The NFL just chose to ignore it to try to catch the Patriots.

This is 100% caught in a lie.
Below is directly from his own report:

Shortly after receiving Grigson‟s email, Gardi sent an email in response stating that Kensil would be at the game and would speak with the game officials about Grigson‟s concerns. Kensil forwarded Grigson‟s email without comment to James Daniel, Director of Game Operations at the NFL, who in turn forwarded it to other Game Operations personnel who would be at the game as an “FYI.” Kensil also forwarded Grigson‟s email to Dean Blandino and Alberto Riveron, both senior members of the NFL Officiating Department, with the message “see below.” Both Riveron and Blandino decided that they would raise the issue with Walt Anderson, who had been assigned as the referee for the game

Why did they raise the issue with the ref, if they didn't take it seriously.

This needs to get out there. Wells just outright lied to cover for the NFL while saying he was independent.

Wells is coming apart. This performance is pretty surprising to say the least.

Mark Daniels @MarkDanielsPJ
Wells kept talking about McNally calling himself the deflator &saying he would go to ESPN. He didn't reference the 16psi balls in Jets game

Mike Reiss ✔ @MikeReiss
Fiery Ted Wells: "Discussion that [NFL] wanted to put some type of hit on most popular, iconic player...it's really a ridiculous allegation"

Mike Petraglia @Trags
Wells says the putting a PR hit on Brady doesn't make sense. Neither does filing 243 page report that doesn't prove any evidence of cheating

Mike Petraglia @Trags
For Wells to tell Yee to publish his notes is beyond amateurish. That's what Wells was paid to do!

Mark Daniels @MarkDanielsPJ
Safe to say that Don Yee and the Patriots have gotten under Ted Wells skin.

Ben Volin ✔ @BenVolin
Wells said he used “more probable than not” because that’s the NFL’s standard. If he were on a jury, he would’ve checked, “guilty”

--this last one is remarkable and will be picked apart in the next few days. If he is sure enough that Brady is guilty as to actually check "guilty" in a criminal court, then why would he equivocate with "more probable than not..at least Generally aware"??? Just because that is what the NFL's standard is????? I thought he was completely independent and not influenced by the people writing his check?

He is wobbling.
