Plus his 50 yards of rushing.
Despite our defense being much maligned, I would say that most of the yards we've given up are on long, sustained drives. Which make me want to rip the hair out of my head, but I think we've been pretty decent in guarding against big plays. We've got to keep this game against the Broncos in front of us. It seems clear to me that the Broncos felt very comfortable, whenever Polamalu was up near the line of scrimmage and with Clark out of the game, that they could take shots deep.
I'm not the football expert that others on this board are, but I don't think our safeties play near the line of scrimmage nearly as much as Polamalu does. Perhaps that's a function of the fact that we need the help in the backfield, or maybe it's a philosophical thing. Either way, I think we should be better equipped to guard against the big play (not to mention the fact that we will clearly be preparing for it as it's what did the Steelers in).
