BB has a rule of spending one day dwelling on the misery of a loss and analyzing what went wrong, and then cutting all ties to that game and moving on.

Per "Education of a headcoach" he realized that going over all the "what if" scenarios was something that was neverending and continually agonizing.

So he decided to put in that rule- one day on analyzing and going over the "what if's" and then closing the book and moving on to the next opponent.

Why can't we do the same?

The bolded is all that needs to be said. Forget about it, move on. These teams will probably cross paths and as sunday showed us it's anyone's game. I could understand it being a lot more devastating if it was the end of the season but there's still hope.

Forget about it, move on.
