On Jim Rome this morning, Strahan called Marvin Harrison and Hines Ward dirty players.
It is in his new book - did anyone else hear this?
He said that Marvin tries to "take you out" when blocking by doing cut blocks

ya, ive heard it before. unfortunately for espn, they're not on the pats ,so it falls on deaf ears.

Can you edit the title to say "Marvin Harrison"?

We all know what the league thinks of Rodney :)

So this is MARVIN Harrison, not Rodney Harrison ? With Rodney's reputation, the subject made me think the other.

Thanks for pointing that out!

Re: Strahan on Rome show - Harrison dirty player

I am now completely confused by this thread.

Yeah I heard that too. He said they put up a front with all their smiling and "nice guy" quiet attitudes but Marvin Harrison and Hines Ward were the some of dirtiest players he's ever seen. I realized Hines was a crooked s.o.b. but it surprised me about Harrison. That settles it, the score must be run up as high as possible !

unfortunately, by the time ESPN decides to comment on this, they will come out and state that Hines Ward and Rodney Harrison are on Strahan's dirty player list. They have done everything in their power to present this game as good vs evil.

Proof - they ignore the VAST majority of players and coaches who have no problem with the Pats scoring binge, and keep bringing the issue up OVER AND OVER again.

They ignore the vast evidence available that the other dominant teams of the various eras also "ran up the score" on teams...including the "sainted" Colts

Young should be censured for his outrageous hypocracy.

Wilbon should be censured for calling for the injury of a player

They rarely mention that the Pats were caught doing something many teams have and currently WERE doing, and DIDN'T gain any meaningful advantage

THEY JUST DON'T CARE about the facts. Not when they get in the way of a good story line.
