The former New Yorkers tend to go to the east coast of Florida from Miami up to West Palm Beach... You outside that area up into the panhandle or other areas of the state and it can be very un-NewYork like to be politically correct...There's lot of retired New Yorkers in FL. Hope that doesn't affect the outcome.
The ones who should be the most pissed off are Ted Wells' equity partners in his law firm. They're just as much on the hook as he is.
IDK, my guess is they had Wells do this because they represent the NFL in other matters like the concussion lawsuit and wanted to maintain an illusion of independence since Wells does not directly have any business with the NFL.
Michael McCann theorizes that Wells is pissed at the League. McCann believes that Wells never wanted to be characterized as independent because he knew he wasn't and that the League left him out to dry with the Deflategate Report because he gave them what they wanted and they took no culpability. McCann says there is no way Wells would admit that about a client, but he feels that Wells will never want to have anything to do with the League ever again and his firm may not either after they finish the concussion lawsuit.
So Wells is angry because the immoral things the league paid him for are coming back to bite him on the arse? I hope that smarmy jerk spends time in prison some day.IDK, my guess is they had Wells do this because they represent the NFL in other matters like the concussion lawsuit and wanted to maintain an illusion of independence since Wells does not directly have any business with the NFL.

"I think the owners are loving this. Now Ted Wells will kick Jim Turner's ass in court and it will legitimize the Deflategate report."
"You're right Mike! You're right!"
Wells may feel that way, but then it's hard to explain his bizarre press conference after his report was made public and how he screamed how he was independent and has integrity and whatever BS he wanted to spew that day.
Ironically, deflategate might turn out to be the best thing to happen to the dorito dinks. What kinda dough are they looking at? Is it based on damage to their perceived stature?Typically I think civil cases are 3 years.
I think McNally or Jastremski will file a defamation suit at some point in the near future. They have a much lower standard to file suit because neither were famous prior to Deflategate and the investigation.

The timing of this couldn't have been any better
Get 'em, Jim!
I have a Dolphins fan (and dedicated Pats hater) here at work... I asked him what he thought about this - he was happy because the Incognito investigation was ridiculous and over the top... but DFG is totally legit and Brady/BB/NE need to be punished "severely" for their "repeated transgressions"... gotta love the delusional nature of your average NFL fan.
I think CameraPlacementGate is more of the catalyst - that gave every NFL fan and mediot the power to believe anything and everything negative ever said about NE and the legitimacy to spout it as absolute truth. Deflategate is just more fuel for the fire.So Ted Wells totally manufactured the whole Bullygate thing, but found God since then and conducted a complete and fair investigation of the Patriots?
This is why the Pats are forever marked from this even if it is discovered that the entire Deflategate thing was a sham and Wells manufactured evidence.
