Re: John Abraham visiting tomorrow...

John Abraham circa 2010 would be a nice addition.

Re: Report: Adrian Wilson to visit Pats

I'd rather have Wilson than Reed.
Wilson is the closest thing we will see to another Rodney Harrison.
Wilson ability to do EVERYTHING a safety does is just what we need.
He will be a tremendous weapon as a blitzer out of sub packages, something we haven't seen since Rodney, and have missed.

You read my mind and I couldn't agree more.

Here come the over the hill vets. :D

Adrian Wilson and John Abraham - both visiting the Pats tomorrow - would add some veteran leadership to go with the young core of talent.

Re: Report: Adrian Wilson to visit Pats

I think I'm dreaming right now. Pats D will be top 10 next year easily if they sign both.

Need to get someone to play next to Wilfork before you can say that. One of the most overlooked things about the D I thought.

Re: John Abraham visiting tomorrow...

Circa 2012 Abraham had 10 sacks. Your point??
Not that he wasn't impressive in 2012, but he was in beast mode in 2010. He'd be a nice addition.

Re: John Abraham visiting tomorrow...

Whether he can handle 20 snaps a game or 50, he will be a great addition.
We need more and better pass rushers.
I will take every one we can get.

Someone posted a link where someone said so but I don't believe it.

Re: John Abraham visiting tomorrow...

Belichick is on fire right now.

Favorite Adrian Wilson Quote - Beastmode!

Tell me this doesn't get you pumped up to think about this guy bringing that attitude to our secondary

I'd love to see a couple of savvy veterans added to the D. The unit is young enough as it is. A few steady heads would have quite the affect.

Both would be good signings that bring in a good dose of veteran leadership to go along with our younger defense. Let's hope they don't want outrageous money.

Ok, I follow you.

Jones on one side with Ninko and Abraham on the other would be sweet!!

Armstead may be that guy.
We also need someone to replace Wilfork on passing downs.

Re: Report: Adrian Wilson to visit Pats

We need a SS not a FS, Wilson or Pollard would fill the bill.

Abraham would be an excellent situational player at this point in his career, a modern Charles Haley.

Wilson last year was a moderately better version of Patrick Chung.

He's a better leader and has obviously more experience, but other than that he's really not any good anymore. People just see the name and accolades and assume he's still good. I'd rather see Gregory. At least Gregory isn't slow as molasses.
