Report: Moss Restraining Order

WEEI was just reporting that Moss had been accused of battery by a woman that said she was dating him. She said he battered her and then would not let her get medical attention. It is being reported out of Orlando, Florida. I will look for some links, but let's hope it's not true!

The radio station reporting it pulled the report. Basically, they just saw Randy G. Moss and decided to report that it was Randy G. Moss of the New England Patriots. It's possibly, but unlikely, that it is our Randy Moss.

It's probably a case of irresponsible reporting.

.......The Broward County Court web site does list a person named Randy G. Moss as being involved in a domestic violence case. Moss's middle name is Gene. Is the Moss who plays for the Patriots the same one involved in the domestic violence case? We don't know, but the fact that WDBO pulled the story from its web site indicates that there are doubts about it.

The only thing we can say for sure is this: WDBO owes everyone an explanation. You can't just post a story, tout it as breaking news, and then pull it from your web site without explaining why.

Are there forbidden topics now.

People come here and read these threads to find the latest updates.

If you don't want to read it, don't click the link.

This is just ridiculous.

I understood when the first thread was locked because some poeple had posted phone numbers.

I also understand when the board gets overwhelmed with threads on the same topic.

But to have just one running thread on this topic to check for updates should be fine.

If you are not interested, don't click it.

But it's nice to have one thread to scan where people can see updates.

WEEI now has reporter on the radio that broke story. She says it is confirmed and she talked to Moss' lawyer, goes to hearing on January 28th. Filed yesterday.

the report is on EEI now (she sounds like an excited teenager) saying that she has spoken with (the Pats) Randy Moss and it IS him that's named in the documents

She did say that. She also made it sound like she'd talked to his lawyer - but later she said she called his lawyer but he hasn't returned her call. Then she said to see the into at www.wdbo.com but the story is no there anymore. She sounds way in above her head to me.

I looked for other threads before starting this one, and didn't see anything. I thought this a worthy story so that's why I started it...and now the reporter is claiming it's the pats randy moss (apparently spoken to his agent defilipo) Hopefully it's not true!
