Most NFL referees do a good job of announcing and explaining the calls to viewers and spectators via their microphone. However, each referee has their own individual style of the timing of the words and the form of arm movements to indicate first down etc. My favorite referees for this are Mike Carey and Bill Corrolo. The worst by far has to Ron Winter. Who are your favorites and least favorites?

Yep, Mike Carey's is great, how he slowly dies off in his voice by the end of it.

If your criteria for this is individuality, I can't see how you could possibly dislike Ron Winter. His method is very distinctive:

"The result of the play, is a first down."
*pause*
*slow turn*
*official's timeout*
*first down signal*
