From reddit, but when I saw this dude in the crowd I knew instantly it was Luck. He took that good mojo from watching his favorite team and was able to beat the Broncos.

@Ian please ban the mod who merged my awesome thread with this one.

EDIT: is there any way to get this to format properly? It appeared to be so before I posted it.....even better, if I could post a spreadsheet, it would be even better

Loved Lynch's anecdote about his time with New England.

He'd decided that he couldn't motivate himself for the season and was going to retire (again) so he went to BB and asked to play the whole way through the 4th pre-season game. BB tried to discourage him because he'd be playing with scrubs, but, in the end, said "yes", so Lynch had a farewell game in which he played right the way through.

And, apparently, Junior told him "Man, you've got it the wrong way round -- you should be like me and play the season but miss the pre-season."

Umm.. after they went up 17-3, the offense went vanilla because of Vollmer being out. This put Fleming in at LT (he had never played there at any level) and Stork at RT. And, according to Fleming after the game, they hadn't practiced with that set of personnel all week.

How did the offense go vanilla?

Brady scored on the same play with Bolden that he did with Lewis.

4th Qtr Paydirt: Later in the game after Lewis was hurt, the Patriots are facing a 3rd and 8 from the Washington 18 yard line. They run the same play, however this time the three receivers were to the left and Julian Edelman and Brandon Bolden were lined up to the right. - See more at: Patriots Offense Has Too Many Options, All - 22 Look - New England Patriots Blog
