We play BAL in two weeks, they will be fired up, they will get those sacks as always.

We have to get ready and hope they plan well.

For some reason the Ravens always give us a fight? Like the Jets. They suck too but gave us a fight both times this season.

That was hardly a fight last year when the Pats strolled 41-7 in their building and ended their playoff hopes.

are people actually worried about this team? Like actually worried then more then facing DEN or hell even Steelers?

Denver is by the far best team other then the pats and pitt is a close 2th but manning cant win in new England and Brady always lights up pitt even when they are at there best on defense but the ravens are a team that just match up well with the pats and have beaten the pats in new England in the playoffs

As long as the O-Line is healthy and clicking, the Ravens are not that bad of a matchup. They have NO ONE able to stop Gronk. And if they double team him, it just frees up Edelman to have a field day.

Their offense has certainly shown to be capable of getting shut down. As long as Browner isn't put on Torey Smith alone (where a downfield PI call is inevitable), the Ravens won't be able to score. Revis takes away Steve Smith and I'm confident this D-Line can stuff Forsett.

Simply put, if you're scared of facing the Ravens in the divisional round at home, you're going to be petrified to face Seattle on a neutral field. If the Pats can't beat this years version of the Ravens, they don't deserve to even sniff the Super Bowl.

Ravens were a team that matched up well when Ray Lewis and Ed Reed were there, they are no longer there. The first Pats/Ravens game without those two, Patriots steamrolled the Ravens in their building.

In years past they matched up well....

that person you responded too got that straight from the cliche machine

SEA would be less of a threat than BAL IMO, BAL knows us.

Listen, it doesn't matter who we play in our first game. Unless our defense and offensive line play better than they have the last two
Games we won't advance. Of course I want the Pats to win and I want a Superbowl victory but that means we must beat the other guys all of them not get a fluke win because the other team stunk that day. If your worried about Baltimore beating the Pats did you forget GB or Seattle?

Does it mean Ravens hire Rex as a consultant?

Dutch has been hitting the sauce early today...

Not afraid of them this time because our D should be able to limit their offense.

Plus, we'll have Gronk.
