I heard a caller mention this and it is a great idea......the Pats should not raise any banner or honor the SB victory without Brady in their lineup.

Week 1 Thursday night game will just be another game if Brady is suspended.

In fact, if I were the Pats, I would decide now that honoring the SB will happen on a week where it is only local broadcast and not have aired primetime or nationally.

I like this idea. Also I would leave my seats empty.

I didn't hear a caller but suggested it in another thread.... The league can't force them to raise the banner on Thurs night. Just like they ran on the field at SB 36 as a team, let them raise the banner as a team, when Tom Brady is allowed back on the field at the next home game.........whenever that is.....

"Sorry Roger we couldn't find the banner, we'll raise it when we're good and ready."

Maybe turn the 4th preseason game into a big party for the season ticket holders and honor the super bowl victory that night with a banner raising against the Giants

I heard that on EEI as well, think its a great idea, especially considering its a high chance Rodger the former Jets Intern will be there

If Brady is suspended opening night... Every play..we should take a knee. Game would be over in about fifteen minutes. Either take a knee... Or stand straight up and not move. The NFL should have just fined the team $25k the morning after the AFCCG (like it says in the rule book) and be done with it. Goodell is ruining the league with his "tough guy" act.

How about letting Brady unfurl the banner .....

PWP...I like your idea better :)

Agree with the sentiment but a stunt like that would get the Pats into far more trouble with the league than anyone can imagine.
