This has nothing to do with this week's games, but since a lot of Skins fans are visiting this week it is a good time to ask this.
The year after Bill Polian got his new emphasis on pass interference into the rules, there were a lot of instances when teams would throw up a pass with less hopes of completion than of getting a large gain due to a gift interference call.
I remember one game in particular that I know involved the Cowboys and Terry Glenn, and I believe the opponent was the Redskins and that it was a Monday night game. I don't remember the particulars except that there were two egregious calls that both went against the same team one on offense and one on defense that were a striking example of the referees essentially handing the game to one of the teams over these bogus calls.
So do any of you Redskins fans remember the game and could you remind me of the details?
