Pro Football Weekly Interview with Ben Watson

That was an awesome play...

To me, that is what football is all about "never give up". That play reminded me of when Don Bebe chased down Leon Lett in the SB to strip the ball even though the game was over.

I hope Ben does progress further next year it would be awesome.

Re-reading this, I think it's funny that the players laugh about Belichick's TE fetish just like we do :

"Watson: No reaction really. I mean, we have a running joke that the Patriots draft a tight end every year somewhere in the draft. (Laughs) So, Dan and I were expecting them to draft somebody at some point."

only a very few can do that

correctly everyone remember his beautiful play against Champ Bailey !
i will never forget it...all the field...amazing...
yeah watson really didn't have the angle at all. he must have really hauled *****. punching the ball out like that is maybe the most amaxing part of the play.
beth-el johnson could have gotten there fast as watson, but would he have thought to do that?
BTW there was anothher play earlier that dropped my jaw. a TE who is strong enuf to defeat 3 consecutive tacklers AND fast enough to outrun 2 DBs 40 yards to the goalline is reallyreally rare.
i think i all the ones i can remember can be counted on 1 hand.
ben coates was like that.
