I'm sorry I couldn't predict that you would have irrational thoughts. Unless you think your thoughts are rational, I don't know. I'm just not great at predicting that people will take words and twist them into something I didn't say then blame me for making them have bad thoughts. It's hard for me to understand because I am able to control my thoughts like an adult.
K, I'm done.Your earlier post was fine. The dislike used against it was stupid. Let's move on.
He's been competent (not outstanding) in a variety of RB capacities, so I wouldn't rule it out.
However, if Bolden was used in a Patrick Pass capacity, I'd expect some guy from another position to get a few reps as the true jumbo FB. We've had an ILB (Seau), an OG (Connolly), TEs (I forget which) and DL (Seymour, Klecko, perhaps more). Almost anybody big enough is a possibility.
Depending on the break, they might carry him on the roster rather than putting him on IR (although it's a tough time of the year to tie up a roster spot). I'm no doctor, on TV or otherwise, but it seems like bone breaks are more recoverable than soft tissue injuries - assuming that if they do stabilize with plates and screws, the injury doesn't get infected. If Develin is smart, he'll ask Gronk who his surgeon was, and then hobble quickly the other way.Globe just reported that Develin broke his leg per a Patriots source.

I nominate Mason. I think he's going to be really good long term, but I don't think he's quite ready to start yet. I'd love to see him running at the Colts' LBs with a big running start, though. He's been competent (not outstanding) in a variety of RB capacities, so I wouldn't rule it out.

Devlin WILL be missed. Over the last few years he's not only been a key element in the run game, he's a better than average receiver, and (IIRC) never been stopped on any 3rd or 4th down runs. To that add the fact he's a versatile ST's player on a number of teams. Right now the Pats do NOT have a replacement who can do all the things he can do. There will have to be a number of people who will have to step up.A fracture doesn't need to wait one month for surgery, put the cast tomorrow, take it off after one month, have to wait another few weeks to start working out, we have an early bye that helps, they are gonna do all the math, depending on the break he can play the second half of the season. There is hope.
Not that I think Develin will be much missed, but he seems to be such a nice guy, to see BB going to check a player on the field says a lot.
I was just watching sportscenter and they showed the highlight of tom throwing the td to chandler and they had the audio from the radio call and instead of tom throwing it to chandler the pbp called it as tom throwing a td to kenbrell tompkins. WTF???
espn continues to troll NE fans. i ****ing hate it.
I didn't see it but they probably just used the wrong audio ************, not everything is a conspiracy against the Pats.
