Status
Not open for further replies.
V - Official Pre-Draft visit; visited team facilities/hosted by team in area
PW - Private workout held with prospect
AW - Attended open workout on Campus
C - Position Coach or Coordinator contact
MC - Team has spoken to player or agent or had on-Campus visit; miscellaneous contact
APD - Team official has attended Pro-Day
I - Interviewed at Combine/All-Star game
RI - Rumoured interest

NB: All players in larger font, and Bold, Italic and Underline, have met the "Three Contact Rule". To meet the TCR, a prospect must have three confirmed contacts (RI does not count). The TCR implies that the Patriots are very very interested in them, and there's a very good chance we'll draft them. Don't take it for granted though.

Excited by some of the additions - Fusco is this year's binky (for me anyway), whilst I was a huge advocate of Tim Barnes last year before he decided to stay on - and we seemingly have big interest in both. Housler is a very interesting one too, I thought he had the best Combine of any player in any position, something I've said in other threads, and I'd love us to take him.

The biggest news though is Allen Bailey being the first this year to meet the TCR. Looks like BB wants the kid.

I've also added "AW" to the legend, see if it helps us differentiate a little better. If it doesn't, I'll soon get rid.

Re: Minnesota Gopher quarterback Adam Weber...

6'3 285 lbs. Are the Pats looking for a Jarvis Green replacement?

I don't remember if Green looked like Tarzan, but it seems to me he played a bit better than Jane, at least for awhile. Perhaps the Pats are hoping Bailey falls far enough to be worth a shot? Alternatively, maybe they're hoping to drum up some interest in him from some other teams so they, in turn, push somebody we REALLY want down to us?

;)

Perhaps he has the tools to develop into an impact role player. And on your second point, NE is in an enviable position to look at most players projected in the 17, and 28-33 area -- whether they're sincere or not. The ability to keep other teams guessing will greatly assist Belichick in selecting his targets.

Belichick? Misdirection? Sleight of hand? Surely you jest!

I kinda like that we've looked closely at a lot of later-round RBs and have had no contact with Leshoure beyond observing at the Combine and attending the Illinois Pro Day. Probably no team is going to make a panic trade ahead of the Pats at #33 because they'll all be positive BB won't take him. Heh.

Re: Pats prospects...

Nate Solder (Colorado, OT) to visit Patriots per Aaron Wilson.

According to a report from Jason La Canfora, the New England Patriots are scheduled to hold a pre-draft visit with Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara

From today I'll start updating the list twice a week, as we're only a month away the numbers of visits/workouts will shoot through the roof now.
