Great news about Bam Bam and Mays, I'd like to see Santonio Thomas, C.J. Jones and Mike Elgin then I'd feel a little better about not having Rogers!

I do agree about Elgin and C.J...Bam was great that he is back...I THINK the team likes him and has more long term plans for him...same with Mays. I would not be surprised if BOTH are on the 53 some time this year...

Unless the Play-offs don't count in terms of accrued seasons, I don't understand how Mays is eligible for the practice squad.

Hopefully, Mays will learn on the PS how to keep his jersey tucked in during the game. I watched the NFLN replay of the Giants and Pats last night and Mays actually stood out to me as someone who was doing quite well - but take into consideration it was against the Giants and their scrubs.

No, it doesn't; Dallas claimed Rogers off waivers before the Pats could sign him to their PS.

Mays also is an inside linebacker...Rogers outside...I think they would have loved to have Rogers here developing...who knows, Dallas might cut him at some point...I just wished they kept him on the 53.

That's true--but they also had the roster space to keep Mays, and they didn't keep him, either.

I think when you claim someone you may have 24 hours to cut someone to make room.

With 4 spaces left it will be interesting to see what happens with Elgin and if the Pats are waiting for any other teams cast offs to clear waivers so that they can scoop them up (i.e. Gaddis).

The practice squad will change quite a bit throughout the entire season.

Many of the players on the squad at the end of today will be gone in the next few weeks as better players become available. It's a real shame our top two guys (Mills and Rogers) are gone.
