Its always nice to get contributions from a few UDFAs. Remember the NFL is comprised 20% of UDFA. So these guys can turn into players for you. Bolden and Francis are especially good news because they fill two positions that needed improvement, RB and DE.
A lot of good news all around from camp practices so far.
At receiver, new pickup Lloyd continues to impress. Meanwhile Edelman also looking very elusive and likely to make the squad when you add his PR abilities on top of that.
At TE, Hernandez looks like a monster waiting to be unleashed.
AT DE, Chandler Jones looks like he will be ready a lot sooner than expected and also live up to 1st round billing.
The only real concern is the OL. But with Dante out there, you know he will always make the best of what he's got to wokr with. I wouldn't be surprised if the Pats drafted OL in 2013 though. Waters has been a consistent no-show and Vollmer's health is still questionable. However as long as Solder plays solid I like our chances. Because the rest of the OL - Koppen, McDonald, Cannon, and Connolly should at least perform at an average level. And when we get Mankins back, the OL could be downright nasty.
