The SB loss I'll never get over because a victory was within the Pats grasp. There were opportunities to win for both teams...and when it mattered most -- we didn't capitalize. No excuses now.
The theft of a round one pick by the powers that be was beyond FO control. A major injustice delivered to one team, defined by the punishment not fitting the crime. And perhaps worse (for the fans), was the label of 'cheaters' attached to the team throughout the entire season. Yes, a heavy price to pay, especially when you consider what goes on behind closed doors league-wide -- past and present.
What bothers me most leading up to the draft is, knowing the talent available between #7 and #62. I'd much rather have a couple of additional prospects with upside, than only one from the #7 crop, which are loaded with uncertainties. Unfortunately, some of the best Pats Prospects will be gone by #62...but as always -- we'll play out the hand we're dealt...
