It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I don't consider any paper that Bill Burt is the editor of a good source. The PFT article doesn't give any good specifics, just basically saying that fans of the Chiefs think Pioli to KC is done.
Listen, Pioli isn't going anywhere. Especially not to the Chiefs.
I buy the rumors. Pioli is gone for a total control, career growth opportunity. Oh, and LOTS of money! He'll be missed.
Many reports have circulated that the Chiefs and Pioli were close to a deal. However, there has not been any confirmation by anyone here at the Post, and knowing how secretive Pioli and the Chiefs have behaved in this process, it would be pure speculation. Something might happen today, something might not happen today, and Pioli could be back in New England for the next 10 years.
As the Scott Pioli rumors/speculation continue in Kansas City, we’re told that none of the various media outlets working the story have bothered to ask a simple question of the team.
Are any press conferences scheduled?
We’re also told that no press conferences are scheduled, which undercuts the ever-expanding suggestion that a deal is close to done, and that an announcement is close to imminent.
Let me be very clear about this: They hate their Vice President of Player Personnel.
I hear Charley Casserly and George Kokinis are also on the list of candidates in Kansas City, assuming Scott Pioli turns down the GM job. Kokinis may have options based on interest from Cleveland and KC.
