    Ben Watson seems pleased:

Patriots name Waldron tight ends coach - The Boston Globe

    ---

And we wish the best for Ben Watson this season.

Pats' wide receiver coach is still open. Why not Troy? BTW what's he doing now? He'll always be one of my all-time favorite Pats.

    Disable Jersey

Think about the hours each day/night that a Patriots coach needs to put in. Troy is a retired multi-millionaire with outside sources of income from emdorsements, appearances, etc. Why work 11+ hour days 6-7 days a week and have no life with your family unless it's your baseline career and you have no other options?

Not to mention that his wife, Kim, is a very successful woman who refused to quit her job in West Virginia when Troy married her and she's spent many, many years being patient with Troy living away from home for 9-10 months out of the year while he fulfilled his football dreams. Now that he's retired, there ain't no way he's coming back to coach. At least until she's good and ready to retire.
