We have so many players with dread locks running around out there it's getting hard to keep track. Stallworth, Maroney, Larry Anam, Mays, Meriweather, and Moss has little ones. Then there's Samuel but he seems to be AWOL.
By the way, that video shows contact during drills. PFT is right, the "no contact" mini camps are the worst kept secret in the NFL.
I thought it was a passing/recievers "camp". Why should the rest be there?
Laurence Maroney (Dreads):
Corey Mays (Probably the longest Dreads of the bunch.):
Chad Jackson (He's kind of got that cornrow's with baby dreads look goin' Him and Moss look a lot alike in these photos):
Larry Anam (Challenging Mays for the longest Dreads of the group):
Ted Johnson and Troy Aikman had dreads???????It doesn't look like the palyers are trying to get that little extra edge.
Fsankly, I'm surprised. Many have gambleed on getting caught, done steroids for the edge, but here fashion is winning out.
I thought that NFL sponsored research had showed that big 'dos led to ill fitting helmets, and a significant increase in concussions.
I thought the NFLPA was planning on making presentations to all teams about the danger. You can name lots of good players who had to leave the game due to concussion damage, before they wanted to retire. I know that TJ and Aikman to name a few, have complained of the effects of brain damage after their careers...
Now I don't care how the players wear their hair, but if it hurts them and the team, I'm surprised that BB didn't say something...
Ted Johnson and Troy Aikman had dreads???????
